Don'tworry baby brain only gets worse once you have them. I was so tired in the first few weeks i couldn't remember my name half the time haha.

Sounds like the trip to London would be nice for all of you. My Mum and Dad were knackered when they had to look after my Grandma after one of her falls so sounds like would do you and your Mum the world of good.

Sounds like the trip to London will be lovely Dinah! Good deal on the hotel too :) I'm going down the weekend after next to stay with my friend for a night, looking forward to it! :)

I think it is safe to say that winter has truly arrived! Brrr it's so cold today, the canal outside my window is frozen! I might have to wander that way on my walk home at lunch time to make sure the ducks are OK!

Feeling very slim today, think it's more to do with my new super flattering £10 Primarni dress rather than weight loss but whatever, I still feel good! Diet is still going well, despite watching OH gorge himself on biscuits, chocolate and coffee all weekend I resisted, nibbling on my teeny bar of 85% dark chocolate (which lasted 2 days) and my one 'big' cheat was a Coors Light, which was still low calorie/low carb so not that bad considering. :) Weighed in on Saturday and I was 5lbs down :D OH couldn't believe it!

Thank you for posting - I was being lazy and not hunting for the thread but waiting for an email to tell me someone else had posted so I could just click through!

Well done Birdie that's a great loss well done! Need to update the sig too :D Remind me again what it is you 'win' if you beat the goal?

Got a few nice bits of clothing in Fat Face at the weekend. The shop name always made me think it was going to be far too young for me, but quite a few things are actually cut perfectly for maternity wear while I still have a non-existant mini-bump and make me feel less mumsy than most of the maternity clothing.

Hey everyone! I've kind of fallen off the face of the internet, bar tumblr (say, if anyone wants the link I'll post it) Been nastily rottenly annoyingly sick for a whole week, I came home from work on Wednesday and was just a hermit until I stumbled to work this morning. On the verge of breaking up with my Brother, which doesn't help matters.

Anyways, if it helps with the baby brain at all, my womb is perfectly childless and I still do things like that. The nightmares sound horrific but you do need your sleep. I was legit going to suggest some herbal drink that's meant to help ease dreams.. then remembered that was in Clash of Kings and not actually real. Muffins help me. The trip to London sounds like it'll do everyone some good.

    Hope everyone's good x

    * falls off chair * Cinny, you are alive. Welcome back.

Is the Bro's OH still causing grief? BIL is back with that nutjob bunnyboiler. I've banned her from our house, although neither him nor her know as MIL has been skillfully turning them from that kind of conversation.

I've taken a "If she makes him happy I'm happy for him but want her no-where near me" approach to matters now.

Also, need need NEED to get back on the bike. Getting dressed this morning and 2 of my 3 pairs of work trousers were too tight :(
This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.

Yey Cinny! I actually went hunting for your web existence the other day - I was really worried something terminal had hit you when you hadn't been on myfitnesspal in ages and the last post said you felt awful. Glad to see you back and hopefully feeling better. Give me the tumblr link please, I love web stalking threadies.

Things still in the air because of your brother's girlfriend? It's really hard when you see someone coming in and you feel like you're loosing the person you know and love. I have no advice because we've got the same situation and as a family we're reduced to pretending to my brother we're not all going away next weekend so we don't have to take them with us.

Ahhh Cinny, don't you go AWOL missy! Was tweeting that I'd lost you on Saturday, had no idea where you'd gone, and realised that you hadn't updated your Tumblr and MFP since December... wasn't really stalking just noticed your absence and worried! :o Hope you feel better soon and boo and hiss to the brother problems.

Didn't quite realise that things were so bad with your brother and his GF Dinah :( It's such a shame, whilst I'm lucky that I get on with my SIL we've got friends who are in the totally wrong relationship and it's so difficult to pretend that everythng is peachy when inside you're screaming every time that person speaks!

Dinah, I can imagine Fat Face is great for bumps, everything is so soft and floaty in there! I love their leggings, really nice quality, as is nearly everything in there actually, just wish I could afford it. I buy t-shirts for OH when they're on sale and whenever he wears them I catch him stroking himself saying, 'Ooooh soft' :rotfl:

Sig has been updated :D I 'win' a night in a hotel from OH. :) We were Googling last night and found The Hudson Hotel in Edinburgh and got a little too (sadly) excited and have decided that we must stay there, although it's £169 per night which is a little over budget... might end up staying in a Travelodge and just going there for a drink instead! ;)

Try trivago, you can look for specific hotels and they search all the hotel providers to see if any have any offers or is offering it cheaper. THat's how we got the one this weekend for half the price on hotels.com which was where I usually just booked through.

I can't face Fat Face prices normally, but this was all sale stuff, cardigan reduced from £55 to £15, dress from £65 to £20, that sort of thing. I admit I did pick up a shirt thinking it was going to be a boring fit but it felt so lovely, but when I got it on it was actually perfectly bump shaped.

Hell, it's worse. She's got him right where she's always wanted him now, he's clearly chosen her over the family, and that's fine. I get it. But he's made his bed, and he's got to lie in it. Seeing me has caused arguements between them already, so I'm just taking myself out of the equation. How sad is that? I just can't be bothered to fight anymore. Hopefully it doesn't get so horrible with your Brother, Dinah.

I didn't mean to just vanish. Had tweetling problems I won't get into, so I just cut the ties and deleted it. Here's my tumblr, it's not too exciting really but I post things most days.

Well done on the weight loss Birdie! I've been stuck at 143lb for a lifetime (we've been eating like pigs though, I'm just glad none went on) went on this morning and I'm 142lb *takes a bow* OH's lost 17lb now and is so proud with himself. Was walking around all morning when we were getting ready for work going 'I can't believe it. I had a kfc yesterday too' :rotfl:

I think I've gained the llbs as you've lost them Cinny - new theory of web carried poundage? I've gained 9lbs so far with this baby which isn't easy when all the other mums to be on the forums are complaining they've lost 10lbs! Do you feel better in yourself?

I'm scared of how bad it will get with my brother. At the moment it very much is a case of she's your call but we don't want to associate with her, but as time goes on if they get serious and she becomes a permanent fixture I'm so scared it will be the stake that drives our otherwise close family apart.
