He did in the end, he'd been working on job apps with dad so I shouldn't be impatient, but 14 hours with no one to talk to gets me cranky!

I'm not surprised you get cranky after so long on your own, I get weird after 4 hours alone!

How exciting about the baby on the way Wendz, a new cousin for Poppy!

It felt like I spent ages last night sorting and organising things in the flat, yet there's no difference, I wondered if I'd imagined it! I did sort out my make-up bag and binned a load and put it in a new organiser thingy though, I always enjoy a good make-up clear-out but I do wonder why I have so much when I pretty much stick to the same stuff all the time! I also sorted out my books and I've got a shelf and a half of books to read, there are 35 of the bleeding things so that's my job for the year, to read the lot (and not buy any more!) I need a 2 week quiet beach holiday to get a good head start on them! I wonder how easy it would be to read whilst on our exercise bike, would be a good way to kill 2 birds with one stone!

When's the next bank holiday weekend? I really want a break from work!

Depends on how good your balance is, I reckon I could do it but you might be better off with a movie to watch.

Awww man, I had a feeling it'd be April. Grrrr. I might have to book a couple of days off to recharge the old batteries. I really want Jet2 to pull their finger out and send us a cheque so we can book a holiday, I'll perk right up then!

I have pretty shocking balance TBH, I'll give it a go though! If not I'll just have to watch Downton Abbey, what a shame!

We don't know what it is so very excited to find out. Her first 2 were girls so will be shocked if its a boy.

Birdie - def sounds like you need a holiday, obviously just so you can read your books.

How rude! He meets you once and decides his balance is automatically so much better. Or is this a guy thing? Is there a tightrope in the man cave they practice on in secret?

My new steam iron has steamed up every single window in the house, including the conservatory (which is impressive as the sliding doors to that room are locked!). I feel even more claustrophobic now I can't see out unless I go open the front door.

I'd give just about anything for one last couples holiday for a week or two away from the world, but not only does the debt say no, but it's probably not the wisest in case the bp spikes again.

Can you not even have a few days in a cottage somewhere? Bit of quiet together time by a log fire would be lovely!

Bit concerned by how steamy your steam iron is!

I just remember you making numberous comments over the half a dozen threads there have been which led me to think your balance was questionnable.

I don't like UK holidays tbh, I feel like I should be getting warmth for my money! I did consider him just taking a week off to snuggle up at home, but I feel it's wasted time which would be better spent once the baby is here. Oh well, I'll just have to enter a few competitions to win a holiday, then it will be fate's decision

OH has gone Music Magpie mad; he bought his friend an Ant & Dec CD from the Works for his birthday for 99p (as you do), put it into MM too see how much they'd give him and they're offering £3 so I have to go and buy a couple tonight to send off for the £2 profit!
