Yey! Just logged on ebay and of the 3 bits I listed yesterday I already have a £35 bid on the cross trainer and 2 watchers on a £15 maternity dress which I bought BNWT off ebay with terrible pictures, and quite possibly would still be a bit long on Tete in platform heels. I have stated how long it is though so hopefully only genuine giants will bid.

    Afternoon all

Oh dear at the fainting in front of postman Dinah! Think your plan about work sounds like the best thing to do, yours and babies health is so much more important than work.

I know a few people with maxi cosi carseats so they must be good if so popular. We have been given the next stage car seat by OHs sister which you are supposed to be able to use from 9 months which she almost is but she is a bit short on the weight requirements so will be in her old one for a while yet.

I am missing out on my friends trip to amsterdam for her 25th next weekend but knew i wouldn't able to leave Poppy a whole weekend yet and was right. Probably couldn't have afforded anyway. Not sure whether we will use my return to work bonus to go to spain to visit oh's nan and grandad or put towards wedding. Depends how much overtime OH does in summer and how much my lovely parents are contributing towards wedding.

I was going to say how do you manage to find so much stuff to ebay Dinah. Going to list a few bits myself next couple of weeks but dont have a lot.

I vaguely recall going to something like that Birdie, not sure if it was the same.

Not sure I can get much more pathetic - the cat was sick which meant the sound of it made me sick also. On the plus side I did manage to get her off the thick wool rug and onto the floor boards.

Oh dear Dinah, that's pretty pathetic, hope you and the cat are happier now! ;)

I am thankful that our flat hasn't got room for too much stuff, but there's still plenty! No matter how many clear-outs I do there are still 'things' all over, no idea how this happens! Going to sort out my craft stuff again this weekend and get it all in one place, then the plan is to make as many cards as I can to use it all up! That has an added bonus of keeping me entertained all weekend so I don't go out and spend money ;)

New diet and exercise regime starts on Monday, been planning my meals and getting all happy about eating well again! :o Ordering a hand-blender too since I've been wanting one for ages, I can make soups and sauces and whisk and chop to my heart's content! The other 2 ladies on my team are doing the same diet as me which is good as we can cheer each other on and we won't be tempting one another with naughty foods and they won't give me odd looks when I offer them diet friendly snacks! :)

Oooh card making.... that's an idea actually. Mums teachers bought loads off me prior to the wedding, I've still got a lot of stuff in the attic. I'm sure they'd buy them again especially knowing it's for a baby fund. Shame I think all the craft bits are well and truely buried behind mountains and mountains of what can only be termed sh*te.

I might also see about learning to embroider a bit while I'm off, I love to sew but can't help thinking I like the creative side more than the end result of having a dress so this might suit me better.

Good luck with the diet and exercise, I kept putting it off thinking 'there's no point I'll only get pregnant and have to quit'. 4 cycles later I decided this could take some time, started the diet, started the shred, and fell pregnant 3 weeks later!

I've sold 3 books on Amazon in the last 48 hours, all are diet cook books. I have to admit finding it a little funny.

I'm really looking forward to starting TBH, doing a food shop over the weekend then I'll be on the wagon! I'm also quite keen to give running a try, it'll be more like waddling whilst gasping for air at first but I hope to build it up, will dig out my ipod and download the Couch to 5k app tonight! :)

January surely is the best time to sell any and all diet and exercise related books and DVDs, quite impressive that you've sold 3 in 48 hours!

I'd like to learn how to embroider, but since I can't draw a straight line I don't have much hope for successfully sewing a straight line! Get NIM to dig out the crafty stuff, it's for the cause after all! And it's a very soothing exercise so good for the BP and baby! ;)

I think there is a very real risk I may loose him up there though... maybe I'll attach a rope to his foot and send him in, help me pull him out again if needed!

Good point, Birdie! I think lying on the sofa crafting sounds much more relaxing than ebaying!

Especially if you can make some money from selling cards. Is the business on hold at the moment, Dinah? I think you're right to put yours and the baby's health first.

Good luck with the diet and stuff Birdie! It's always quite refreshing to have a brand new start. I was chuffed that I started my new year exercise regime on the 4th! Normally it's more like March :rotfl:

However, I should have started the wedding diet months ago! And I still can't walk properly as I overdid the squats on Wednesday :o
But I have just booked a florist and wedding band, so feeling very relieved about that. Oodles to do though!

Beginning of May! Not that long in wedding terms...

Have you had any thoughts about your wedding yet Wendz? Or does it depend on your parents? It's lovely that they're going to contribute :) Mine blew me away with how generous they were - we haven't changed our budget, but it's meant that we could ease up on our saving which has made a huge difference!
