Aww thanks Poddle! I do my best and find its best to go with the flow as babies (well my baby) do not do what you think they should. Sorry the baking didn't go too well, good luck next time!
The chocolate toffee pretzels sound yum Birdie, I am sure everyone will love them.
Enjoy your lunch Dinah, things will get done so don't panic! I am sure you will get some help. That made me laugh about running out of potatoes for the Irish.
Have been to music group this morning, did some nice christmassy tunes. Got a friend coming over this afternoon with her little boy whose a month older than Poppy so going to make some mince pies (cheating with ready made pastry and mince). Then my sister and her OH are coming tonight till tomorrow night or sat morning as his family live near here and my sister will come down with us to my family.0 -
Bit of an issue with making the Christmas cake and NIMs pie for work tomorrow... I don't appear to have any tins. The only round tin I have is not only huge, but also missing a base....Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Fancy a seasoned baker such as yourslef not having any pans Dinah!
Your plans for today/tomorrrow sounds lovely Wendz, much better than mine which mainly involve trying to avoid work!
Just had our second work Christmas dinner, chinese paid for by the contractors, very nice! Think I'm in trouble with OH though, despite me telling him about 6 times last week, then yesterday evening when he got home and again right before we went to sleep he was expecting me home for lunch, my phone was on silent as I wasn't expecting any calls, I checked it at the end of the meal and there were 2 texts and 4 missed calls to ask where I was! He's not replying to my texts or calls nowOvercome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
My mum keeps stealing them, somehow removing the non stick coating from them, they go rusty and she bins them. I can't work out what she does to them!
I have a big square one, but it's massive, and I don't really want a square pie!
Lol his mistake, I'd just go home all jolly, let him huff it out on his own as it's only himself he can be mad at.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Wow that is some to-do list Dinah!
I am home from work and finished for Christmas!!!!! Going to pick OH up from the station soon, go get some bits for dinner tonight and then just chill. Tomorrow we have to go to Lakeside so OH can get all his Christmas presents. He usually leaves it till the last minute every year, but because I have the car this year, I have been persuaded to accompany him so he doesn't have to lug everything home on the bus. I've told him he has to be ready at 7:30 am so we can definitely get a parking space. He didn't seem to happy about that!Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170 -
Lol might convince him to do it a bit earlier next year. I'd rather be present-less than face the Christmas eve madness! Good luck love.
