For all that I'm the tighter of the pair I'm well able to muck it up for myself.
Went to tesco monday night to get some bits and I got 4 bagels reduced to 8p each and 2 blocks of cheese...which I managed to leave out in the kitchen and D has just discovered. Thinking I might sleep in the car tonight :o
This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.

Are you saying you left the cheese out all night/day/night NIM? Nice.

I feel so festive today; wearing dangly reindeer earrings, matching necklace and a reindeer clip in my hair complete with teeny jingle bell! All from my advent house! :D Such fun! Today I got the cutest charm bracelet with lots of little Converse style trainers on, not very festive but I'm wearing it too! :)

I do not feel like working at all any more, got our team Christmas lunch in half an hour; going to a French restaurant and I'm having moules frites, yummy! All paid for too! :) Got another free work lunch tomorrow too... will be sick of eating by Sunday! :o

    Hey!

I've been a bit of a lurker too :o I'm 36% tight apparently; some of those things were just common sense! (But some of them were just mean... fancy trying to diddle your friends! Not very festive...)

Glad you're feeling festive Birdie - love the sound of your outfit :D Do you have a Christmas Day outfit planned...?!

Enjoy all your xmas lunches! Ruby, your work party sounded hilarious! I would definitely get in touch re job - even if they haven't made a decision yet, being keen won't hurt.

NIM, if your kitchen is anywhere near as mine is, the cheese will be fine! :rotfl:

How are you and the bump Dinah? Glad to see you have a slightly shorter to-do list... I desperately need to get sorted! Because I've been off work I feel like I've had loads of time, so haven't been very organised. Oops!

  • Ooh snap Wendz, I have emergency appointment later - I wear a retainer at night and just got a new one that's not been made right. Now have a swollen bleeding gum, pain and a grey tooth! From googling it seems that means the tooth is dead, I don't want that

Just had our xmas buffet which was nice, though wishing it was french food now Birdie! Enjoy!

Happy belated birthday Dinahs grandad, glad he had a nice day :)

    36% tight here!

I think you might all be about to kill me, or despair of me. My hard and fast motto sort of fell apart spectacularly when it came to buying a present for my mum.

I googled the cheese, apparently because it's a hard cheese it'll be fine.

Bump and I are well, he's stopped making me sick/sleep 16 hours a day so I'm a lot happier. Definately noticeable now though, got my first maternity bundle from ebay yesterday so have some more comfy clothes to wear when I return to work.

    Enjoy your lunch Birdie!

    Hi Poddle!

    I feel for you Archers!

Dentist wasn't too bad, although they did inject me about 4 times (or it felt like it). The fillings were really deep too so took ages. He said if the wisdom tooth causes any more problems then they will have to take it out. They wouldn't do the white fillings because of where the fillings were but at least it was all free.

Left Poppy with my friend (mum from baby group) and she was fine apparently. Was a bit worried as only left her with my mum and Daryl but she wasn't even bothered i left haha.

Glad you are feeling better now Dinah, I never had sickness really apart from first thing but went after half hours ish. It dissapeared around 16 weeks i think. OH's poor sister has still got it now and she is 8 months pregnant! She is on medication for it. She didn't have it for the girls so everyone is convinced this ones a boy.
