Back from lunch and a couple of glasses of wine, feeling quite happy with my litte self but also very very full! And I have a lovely aroma of garlic around me...stay away people!!

Glad the fillings weren't too bad Wendz, I find that the noise and the whole someone's-hand-is-in-my-mouth feeling is a lot worse than what's actually being done! Good that Poppy was OK, it's nice knowing that she's happy to be apart from you for a while now so you can go places on your own without worrying too much, even if you do feel a little, 'Huh...why don't you care?!' about it!

You know what Poddle, I don't have an outfit planned for Christmas day! Something stretchy preferably! Oh and it's lovely to hear from you, how did the croquembouche making go?!

A grey tooth does sound bad Archers, happened to my brother (the dentist caught a nerve when he was doing work on the one next to it) and sad to say it was dead, think he had to have a crown to hide it?

Good news that the bump is feeling better now Dinah, did you get nice things in the maternity bundle? Ooh and what have you bought your Mum? I always want to blow the budget on my Mum, I think they deserve it more than everyone else because they're so fab!

That's kind of my thinking too, she does so much for us, and will be doing a whole lot more when the little person arrives, it's nice to be able to treat her.... don't want to say what I got though because I know I was naughty and should have paid the money off the debt!

We're sending her to Venice for 4 days, it's been a major life ambition of hers to go.

Yep, booked for both of them to go. It was hellish finding them somewhere with good reviews, a private bathroom, and for less than £130 a night. The place I found had a good deal on with stay 2 nights get 1 free so it came in on budget.

ETA: I have realised I booked in her known name ,which is actually her middle name, really hope that's not an issue.

It should be OK, my brother is known by his middle name and I think he always books in that too and he's not had an issue. Best to check with the travel agent though!

Funnily when my brother got married the registrar actually called him *middle/known* *first* *second middle* name... which we weren't expecting, we thought he'd say it the correct way round!

Ah nothing like a half day to break me into the Christmas holidays. Parents are travelling down tonight so need to tidy this place but I am still from the carvery lunch and free ice cream (and half of somebody else - waste not want not).

That is so sweet of you Dinah about your mums present.

Have managed to clean the kitchen so just the hallway to hoover when the man has finished painting where we had the leak. I expect the kitchen floor will need doing again in a couple of hours as Poppy likes to throw her food round the room haha.
