Fingers crossed for the interview Ruby! Sometimes these things can be surprising and when you think its gone well you dont get the job and vice versa!

I'm going to be working most of this weekend which is annoying because I can't get motivated but I did some quick christmas shopping maxed out my student card for discounts along with a few other cheeky discounts!

Also I watched that programme youre all talking about - definitelty not going to be ear rubbing though! I felt really sorry for all of the people because well its sad.. getting yourself into debt for those things and getting up at 5am to rub your ears.. sheesh! Also the young couple.. I dont know it just made me feel a bit sad. I would love a passive income but you need the capital and security first and I'm a long way from that unfortunately - Maybe one day ! I no longer want to read rich dad poor dad though!

18 MS nim you are amazing! I dont know how you have the memory for it all, or the patience to come and do all of the reports!
    Hope everyone enjoys their weekends!

I've ended up doing 21, its hard to do it all and I did miss out 2 but I just couldn't find parking within any reasonable walking distance of the two stores.

Still have a few reports to do though.
This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.

Hello! Happy Birthday Archers! :j

Hope everyone had a nice weekend, there were some good sounding plans, apart from the 21 MS!

Hope you get good news from the interview people Ruby! Fingers crossed!

My brother's wedding was lovely, a completely fantastic day! So pleased for them, I kept getting all teary looking at my SIL in her dress, she looked so beautiful. She was stuffing her face the morning after and saying, 'Pudding! I'm going to eat so much pudding now, nothing's going to stop me from eating!' so I have a feeling she may be indulging on honeymoon, which is at Sandals in Jamaica and sounds amazing- not jealous at all!

Archers, we did go to see the Coca Cola truck, it was far too busy so we didn't queue... and it wasn't very good! Not sure what we expected, but it was a bit of a let down! OH took a photo of me looking unimpressed then we left! We did go to Wilkos before heading off though and I got some battery powered Christmas lights for my desk which shall be going up today! :D

We have refrained from putting the tree up (we'd have to buy one first...) but I'm not really feeling it yet. I don't know if the Christmas spirit will arrive once the tree is up or if I need more spirit before I feel like putting the tree up...? My Mum dropped off my advent house yesterday (only 4 days late!) so that might help make me feel more jingle bellsy :xmassmile

    :bdaycake: Happy Birthday Archers!!

So glad the wedding was good Birdie, it's a lovely time of year to get married.

I must say I'm not feeling Christmassy yet either Birdie. It's been too hectic and stressful :( I will have to get the crooner Christmas tunes out - Elvis ones are my favourite :)

I just googled Advent house - so cool!

So last night i ticked off another goal of getting £20 more for presents. Plus today another goal is going to be sorted as we are visiting an actual independent financial adviser.

Ooh I've have to post a photo of my advent house tonight, it's a beauty! :D I think we've all been so focused on the wedding that we've kind of forgotten about Christmas, I'm going to wrap presents and write some cards tonight to see if that makes me all jolly again! :)

I'm not impressed with White Stuff by the way; I used the £20-off code to order a necklace (and matching earrings using OH's details) and e-mailed them after 2 weeks asking why my necklace hadn't arrived and why hadn't I received an update and they've just got back saying it's on back-order and will remain there for a maximum of 3 weeks. Thanks for the heads-up customer services! Why could I order something that isn't in stock and why didn't they e-mail me (and OH as I assume the same thing's going on with the earrings) as soon as they realised?! Annoying!

Well done for knocking off some goals Lara! I completely lost track of mine this month! :o

    Hi all,

Looking forward to an update Dinah.

Glad the wedding went well Birdie , sounds like it was a lovely day.

I am feeling very Christmassy but think it helps i am at home most the time to do things like christmas tree. I have made some christmas cards too, just with Poppy dressed as a reindeer on a photo and then been cutting out merry christmas from wrapping paper. They look quite simple but nice. Have started wrapping as well.
