Ooh Dinah - hope it isn't too sore. You poor thing.
Zig - Not too long now. You will have an absolute ball!
Hi Wendz - I know what you mean about money running out. Mine seemed to have run out on the 3rd of this month!
All good here. Went to a family photoshoot yesterday. Max was being a typical toddler so I don't think we will get a nice family shot but I think she got a couple of nice ones of him and defo lovely ones of Evie as she is too young to misbehave. Lol!
I am presuming baby starnac has arrived. Hope all is okay.
Flower - well done on going to the mother and baby groups. They are great aren't they? I go to one every day except Thursday. My BIL says I am an addict. Lol!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Hope you managed to get some nice pictures. Got some done of Poppy and me and Poppy a couple of weeks ago and she refused to smile. Some of them are still Ok though so buying a couple and my mum is buying a couple.
Yes hope all is well with baby and Starnac!
I go to a group every day except Tuesday hehe, keeps me busy anyway.
I saw that they have that black Friday thing on Amazon this week so might be some bargains.
Hope that the dentist goes ok today Dinah.0 -
Thanks Wendz. Dentist has no appointments so it's a case of going down there and waiting for someone not to show up. I've called work and put in a days holiday as I have a blood pressure check at 3pm so don't think it's worth going in for only a couple of hours as it will decimate my flexi sheet.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

LOL CMD, do you need to go to Baby Groupaholics Anonymous?!
The tooth knocking-out sounds very unpleasant Dinah, hope it gets fixed today and it doesn’t cost too much! I hate dentists and teethy things in general so that really gave me the heebie jeebies! _pale_
I do not feel ready for Monday at all today; wish I had another day off! At least it’s my last day in the office ‘till Friday as I’m re-sitting the course I failed a few months ago from Tues-Thurs
Had a surprise night out on Saturday, we got a call at 4.30 asking what we were up to and had to admit that we had no plans/friends/life and got offered Jason Manford tickets as our friends had a spare pair so we went along, he was pretty funny but the best thing is that Harrogate is so posh he actually got positively heckled by a little old lady who kept shouting that she loved him and we were all glad he was visiting! :rotfl: He had every come-back ready for people giving him lip but no idea what to say to someone being nice since it never happens!
Did some Christmas shopping over the weekend, mainly online, think we’ll be getting parcels delivered all week so OH will probably be on first name terms with the postie by Friday! Last year our local postie got so used to OH picking up my parcels he assumed that he was me with my stupid could-be-a-boy’s-could-be-a-girl’s name, we’d pass him on the street and he’d say hi to OH by shouting my name, I got very confused and OH explained that he didn’t have the heart to correct him!I’ve made a sad little spreadsheet to work out how much I’ve spent and how much I’ve saved, so far I’ve saved over £120!
It looks like my main present from OH will be an Amazon gift voucher as he was checking out Kindles for me last night and read about the new Kindle Fire which should be released in the New Year some time so I’m going to hold out for that. OH is convinced that as soon as he buys the Kindle I’ll decide that I want a tablet so this is the best of bothOvercome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Eeek dinah poor old you, will you be able to claim some money back on your health plan? Hope its not too pricey.
Ooh zig so exciting, glad you're feeling bit better. You will have an amazing time. I need to get my travel plans sorted as totally fed up atm, living at home is driving me mad!

Aye I think I should get all of it back, which is something at least.
Where are you thinking of travelling Archers?
One week to go Zig!
What do you do at baby groups? I get that when they're toddlers they can play together, I'm just curious what happens when they're at the learning-to-hold-own-head-up stage?Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I go to different baby groups. Go to a baby and toddler one on a monday where there is a small baby area with toy out on mats. Wednesday under 1's is similar . Thurs and fri we go to music group where we sing songs and play instruments (well I sing hehe). Poppy is crawling round now so is into everything and loves having all the other children to interact with (or steal toys from, little bully). When she was smaller it was just nice to chat to the other mums and have a cup of tea.
Birdie - Sounds like you had a fun sat night . Positive heckling is a new one! I also have a geeky spreadsheet for christmas presents.0 -
I can handle chat and tea, I was just wondering what goes on at these things - not having a baby I can't infiltrate and find out
Dentist was fine, it used to take my old dentist around 30-40mins to do this repair, it took the lady today no more than 5 mins! It's a more delicate job and feels more natural, although I do know the thinner repairs are less sturdy and more likely to break again.
Anyone got any bargains on Amazon black Friday? It doesn't seem to have much, last year was better deals, you just couldn't ever get one!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Glad the dentist was quick.
I have been looking but not very impressed yet so haven't bought anything.0
