Zig, sorry to hear your news, it isn't stupid at all to feel upset and I don't see anything inappropriate about posting here either, its anonymous enough to offload but hopefully not so anonymous that you are still able to take comfort from your friends here x

Wendz, really sorry to hear about your Grandma, it will have meant a lot to her getting to see Poppy. It must be hard as well worrying about your dad, mine was exactly the same when he lost his sister and didn't really show any emotion but I think he was more comfortable with that because of his generation/upbringing, I'm sure he knows you are there for him and that will mean a lot x

Hugs to everyone today who needs them x

So sorry to hear your sad news Wendz and Zig - I hope you are both ok xxx

Not been posting much as been busy busy busy. Not been in the house much as been taking Noah out on lots of walks and also forced myself to go to some baby groups (I hate meeting new people!) - its actually quite nice to talk to other new mums, which I never though I would hear myself say!

Hi Flower, Really glad you are going to some groups, it really is nice to talk to other mums and I feel like I have become quite good friends with some of the ones i have met now. Sounds like things are going well for you.
  • Zig - I am so sorry to hear about your miscarriage. Doesn't matter that you didn't know you were pregnant, it must have been a terrible shock to you. I think Oz will be a great fresh start for you and you will have a great time over there.

Wendz - so sorry to hear about your Gran. I bet she was so proud of Poppy and she must have been so happy to know so many people cared for her.

Both of you mind yourselves xxx

    Morning all!

Hope you're feeling OK today Zig and Wendz :) And everyone else of course! :o

Payday tomorrow and I can't wait, got loads of stuff I want to buy for Christmas, my list of things to buy keeps on growing and I'm not ticking a lot off! Been window shopping online for OH and got loads of ideas now but trying to decide between getting him a double slanket as he's always sneaking under mine (and stealing a sleeve!) or a space rug, which looks suspiciously like a Jedi robe! Ah decisions decisions! I also wish I had a spare £250 lying around as I found out that you can book a 45 minute dance lesson with Ola Jordan from Strictly which would be the greatest ever gift I could give OH! Might have to settle for a signed photo instead! :p

I was a complete idiot last night and was trying to jump over OH to get into bed rather than get in on my side, misjudged it a bit and I flew right over him and off the other side! Even worse is that the gap between the bed and the wall isn't very wide and I got stuck down there, OH couldn't help because he was laughing too much! God knows what the neighbours thought we were doing! I smacked my foot in the process and trying not to limp today as I don't want to admit that I hurt it when I fell out of bed! :rotfl:

I am doing ok thanks, managed to get a cold though. Heading down to my mum and dads later today with my sister for a couple of days. They are not sure about the funeral yet as my cousin is in mexico.

My OH bought me a pink slanket last christmas and he always steals it! Loving the double one.

You just cheered me right up with the thought of you flying over the bed and getting stuck :rotfl:, sorry Birdie!

The lady who runs the baby music group we go to's little girl was on Lorraine with Martin Lewis this morning :money:, jealous!

I hoped my antics would cheer you up... sadly it's not a made up story! :o

That's so cool about the lady's little girl on Lorriane with Martin! Hope he was nice :)
