    Hi Rising

Just spotted your diary after seeing you over on the Pet Care board so de-lurking to say hello :hello:

Re. pill reminders, do you use a computer at work - could you set a reminder in your work calendar? For example Outlook will let you set a recurring appointment for the same time every day, and you can mark them private if you don't want everybody else to see what it is (though if you didn't then maybe the rest of the office would also remind you!)

  • I've got Gabapentin ...... fingers crossed it helps - have you heard of it?

You'd think I would remember at lunchtimes but :oI don't have a fixed routine as some days I come home & others I don't so I don't always have it in the same place IYSWIM

I do have a 7 day pill box which sits on the kitchen counter & since I've had that (and been on the once / day meds) I do remember to take them every morning ;) (as I can't function without my coffee!) - but unfortunately only 1 compartment / day.

Quite like the look of these as I could fill for each day, keep in the kitchen as I do just now (so would remember the AM ones) and then take the day's box with me when I went out

Doesn't help with actually remembering to take them tho!

    Some people swear by gabapentin.
A few people from my pain management swore by it.
I hope it works for you.

Hello :) Do you use Outlook at work? You can set a reminder thingy on it :) *edit* just read Rosa mentioned it too.

OMG, that's a brilliant idea:T:T (and thanks to Badger too!) - I had no idea you could mark them private :o so will def look at how to do that tomorrow!

That should solve it (weekdays anyway!) :j:j

Ohhhhh that's encouraging:) - fingers crossed as it's getting me down a bit TBH and although I'm coming to terms (rather slowly:o) with the fact it's never going to be fixed / better than it is now - it would be lovely to be a bit more comfortable on a day to day basis.

The app I've got is called Woman Log & and you can have it on any notify settings, and the little reminder stays on screen until you click it and mark on the calendar that you've taken it.
It's got all sorts of other features but I just use the reminder part, I bet there are others too :)

*edit* there's one called Pillbox Alert on Android that looks quite good http://pillboxalert.com/
Not sure if there's an iphone one if you've on iphone though?

I know where you are coming from.
It is hard to come to terms with & to know that things are how they are.
I think you are coping really well:A
I hope that you can get a solution that works for you & leaves you firing on all cylinders.
