  • Awwwww Badger so am I! I've really missed having her downstairs in the evenings as she's a total lap cat usually:D - funny as well as I thought she'd be the one that put Maisie in her place straightaway as she's really feisty ..... but it was big cat (scaredy cat!;)) who got the measure of her much quicker:cool:

Slowly well, ummmmm all I can say really is that I'm back at work .... and nothing's changed in the week I was away (unsurprisingly)!:o

Still, it pays the bills and keeps the bailiff from the door! :)

  • Thanks SF .....

Can I just say ...... AAAARRRRGGGGGHHHHHHH - you know when you've seen something where it shouldn't be and think "oh, what's that doing there" and - instead of putting it where it should live, you leave it - and then when you need it you can't beeping find it

I've spent ages hunting for something that I saw a few days ago ...... still not found it :o and if I can't - I'll have to buy a new one  (they aren't expensive tho') but it's the beeping principle and you can guarantee I'll find the original one if I buy a new one:rotfl:

  • Not found it as yet :( nevermind:cool:

    Anyway .... I have a problem :eek::eek:

New meds (for foot) have to be taken 3 x a day :(

Previous crohn's meds were 3 x a day & I never remembered to take them all - used to end up either taking the whole lot together or forgetting :o.

Thankfully, this has been resolved by my consultant switching me to a once a day med - and it's made a huge difference :T:j& current meds can all be taken in the morning (and together)

Checked with Dr and that's not an option with the new meds:eek: & they have to be taken at regular intervals to work :(

Mornings will be fine as I can just add another pill to the multitude I already take then ;) and evenings I will probably manage (most days but may be an issue at weekends as I don't tend to eat to any sort of schedule then:o) but the afternoon one ..... when I'm at work & at weekends - not going to happen judging from previous experiences:eek:

    Any suggestions welcomed.:)

    make a spreadsheet?
Make a tick box poster for every day?

Love to you and your lovely animals!

 Hell - lovely to see a new face (as well as all the regulars IYKWIM:o)

Phone alarm may well work for the weekends :j so will certainly give that a bash - unfortunately, we're not allowed sound on them at work ..... mmmm wonder if the alarm will work on vibrate ..... must have a play around with that!:D

I did think of a keyring pill box but I don't use my keys from getting to work to leaving & don't always even go in my bag so a normal pill box wouldn't work either as nothing to jog my memory ..... mmmmm

A poster thing .... I do like the sound of that!:T mmmm could make a spreadsheet thingy :) will have a play around with that too!

Thanks for popping in & hope to see you again:D

  • PS not sure you'd think Maisie is quite as lovely if you could see the state of both her and my kitchen floor!

Honestly, I don't think I've ever seen such a mud magnet before  (and I used to think Ben was bad;)) - floors are filthy & TBH I've given up trying to keep the kitchen one clean (unfortunately very pale beige tiles:eek:)...... another load of dog towels ready to do already!:p

and the little monkey was eating her BONE on the living room floor earlier

    BUT
she is rather cute and lovely!:D
