Probably no consolation whatsoever but I am stung to bits by nettles, prickled by thistles and irritated by ground elder

On the other hand the sky is mostly blue and I'm off to Wisley (RHS HQ) for the day tomorrow. Sorry!

  • Been pretty wet here too but judging from some of the clips I've seen on the TV, we've escaped the worst of it!

Did manage to shave the top off the grass earlier - it was really far too wet to cut (squelching when you walk on it) but it was 5" high & with a dog ...... you need short grass if you get my meaning ;)

Landline advance rental £10 (paid May)

Raided to help fund Maisie's spay op bill! Haven't rounded down the past couple of Saturdays as was a wee bit into the OD:eek:

    House account £93.09
All d/debits come out of here & try to transfer a wee bit more than needed, but it's only around £15/month just now (and it may be getting transferred back if I've still got the OD at the end of this month!)
