Back hall has been cleared and the floor brushed and moped. My plan is to move all our stuff into there out of the way. I even think there is a massive box in the big shed so i'll use it to store all. :D

WM on second load and all washing sorted into piles. Dw on for the second time today and recycling has been put out. Still got loads to do in the kitchen..:(
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

    Well done shellysue

LW and JoJo, hope you both feel better soon.
Everyone is working well today. Here is looking a bit better too.

Food in the oven.....always hungry when I get back from work!!
DD wanted to come home with me lunchtime, I don't think she likes the supply teacher she has....tough, I'm afraid!!!
Need to take her to DSD's for 4:30 as it is her birthday today and then get back for Brownies at 6:30......whether anything gets done inbetween is another thing!! OH is going to sort his own tea and DD will probably just have some sandwiches and fuit......she had a sausage dinner in school so should suffice.......
  • Good afternoon :D

DH has been home today. While I was at toddler group he emptied the DW (which i put on this morning), done some ironing, washed up and tried to fix the utility room door handle (I think we need a new one).

DS & DD2 have finished school early (yr 6 open evening tonight), so we picked them up & took them out for lunch :) DH is working tonight, & DS has to go back to school at 5.45 as he is playing in the wind band, so at least i don't have to cook (or wash up :p).

I only have 1 child tonight ( a 6 YO). DS is cutting out egg boxes to make a bat, and DD2 is making up icing to ice biscuits! That is him sorted then, thanks to my little helpers :T

1 load in WM (needs to go in TD). I think I will hoover through when all the craft activities have been finished. I also need to do some reading, and some work paperwork tonight.

Hugs and spoons to those that need them, esp LW & JoJo

Our clothes have all been folded and put into bin gags and then put into a massive box. OH posted all the ebay stuff so at least thats more stuff out of the house. :D

Need to go and move some more stuff out of our room, tv and bedside units. Then hopefully it will be clubs tonight and bed early.:rotfl:

(((HUG))) Step away from the plate of frogs for a few days - maybe til after the weekend, say?:o Sounds to me as if you could use a couple of days of pure xx_Jo_xx-time (not that I'd be taking my own advice, in the same situation, it's true, lol).

    Monday: Kitchen
    Tuesday: Living room
    Wednesday: Bathroom
    Thursday: Bedroom
    Friday: Spare room plus hallway

I agree LW - I would love to have a few days of Jo-Time right now... I cant remember the last time I bothered to straighten my hair or even shave my legs :o but thats just not possible right now. You see, this is my last weekend before the van comes, so I need to pack as much as humanly possible -- clothes, dishes everything - and leave out a just a few pairs of jeans etc for the next few days... Monday, onwards I need to start dismantling furniture and cleaning...

Job applications are done for now - the closing date for the last one is tomorrow, so I did that today at work :D So at least no more job applications for a while. :o

I however finished working now, so thats one less hassle and I have picked up some more boxes from my sisters work and DS has basketball tonight, so i can hopefully start getting ripped into everything!

Dont worry LW - Ill be fine, Ill get some sleep in a couple of weeks when this is all done. :p

Im sorry, your having a carp day, but at least youll get a nice new dental plate soon! I think your new list idea seems like a sensible idea. Squishy hugs right back atcha xx
