I bit the bullet and took the DD's to hobbycraft after school and brought the tin :o
I don't want to say too much about the project as I'm not sure if the boyfriendish reads my comments  but if it works out I shall let you all know :)
I haven't done anything today apart from all the running around. I have unloaded the DW and cooked dinner. My friend called so I had a talk with her and decluttered many tears :(
I'm now hiding upstairs while DD2 is watching waterloo road, can't watch that programme anymore.
DD1 is playing sims and noone is doing or has done any housework and I have no energy to say anything :(
I could do with a very large drink but as I'm on meds it's best I don't so a glass of lemonade and an early night it is.

Tomorrow is a new day and maybe things will be brighter
  • not done much today but i got my fish tank from my parents and ive cleaned it out and filled it and put on the filter an heater so in about 2 weeks once the water has settled and stabilised and ive got the relevant chemicals i can get some fishies!!

ive done 2 WM loads and ive got another 2 half loads upstairs. ive found the hats and scarves though! they are just finishing in the WM so ill get them on a radiator somewhere to dry. ive bedding on the airer with some towels, more towels on the living room rad, kitchen one has a duvet cover just needing finished off, the rest of the towels are in the basket. trying to not use my TD if i can help it.

i got a letter today and i wax entitled to a rebate on my gas and leccy coz i am classed as being in "fuel poverty" coz i pay more than 25% of my income on fuel and it was meant to be paid in April 2012 after winter but they have paid it in early so my gas is credit to the sum of £50! leccy isnt however. i owe £20 on that but im on DD so it will balance itself out but this quarters bill was a bit on the high side so im keeping an eye on that.

WM load number 4 on and radiators all filled bar the bedroom ones. hope tomorrow is a nice day so i can hang all this washing out on it!
  • Evening!

I woke up today...at 2.14pm and can feel the meds are doing their job.

Been out with Minion, getting her HPV vaccine as she missed her school one due to physio.

And, of course, 0.5ml of Cervarix in the arm is soooooo traumatic (compared to 4 of the things of steroid in yer bum :p), this meant MccyD was compulsory.

One top, one grunge style woolly hat, a pair of shoes (all bought by me) and the borrowing of my checked shirt because she was cold meant that she could have been transported here from my late teens.

I consoled myself with a neon yellow nail varnish and some labret studs for my ears.

Came home and Minion has been told to do the DW, make a cuppa, do her room and remove all her clean clothes from the top of the WM/TD. She is currently 'tidying' a poster onto her bedroom wall. It's a start, I suppose.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

    Hi all,

My flying efforts are very lame - not a great deal to report. House is tidy-ish and am keeping on top of dailies....just about.

Im knackered, burnt out, exhausted. I am Stressed like you wouldnt believe, so not sleeping....thinking of things to do, which makes me more tired! Im also Sick of eating frogs, have gone right off the taste of them :p - but as a result have applied for some jobs... one of which I really want which is a General Surgery position... so fingers crossed.

Its my last day at work tomorrow, which means no more hassle in one area of my life and lots more of my clothes can get packed away!

Hopefully will catch up with flying tomorrow, but as its basketball and rugby for the LO tomorrow after school, its more likely gonna be friday... :(

    Happy flying folks,

Love hugs sticks and spoons as required xxx
:)Sometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying:)

I've been busy since last post and have took down both wardrobes, folded all clothes, sorted through all shoes, sorted through all toys and books and games, hoovered boys bedroom, hoovered DD bedroom, hoovered livingroom and hall. Helped get all homeworks done and gave the livingroom a quick tidy. I'm shathered... :rotfl:

Hairdresser was very unhelpful when i went in so i'll talk to the boss tomorrow.

Plan tomorrow is front hall, tip runs and our bedroom. :D

Head thumping so i'm heading to bed soon and i'm still muttering about my hair, flipping £180 and no straight hair.......grrrrrrrrrrr
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

  • Vanilla what did you get done to your hair? was it a normal chemical straighten or a brazillian blow dry?
  • Decided to take the plunge and contact a window cleaner for a quote, as there is no way I'm going to do it in the near future. Hoping it won't be too expensive, as it would be nice to see out them properly for a change.

What could I expect if I got a cleaner in for a blitz of the house?

It's looking dingy, and I don't want to use all my energy (that hopefully will turn up in the next couple of days as the meds work) just on dealing with dust and grime.

I know it sounds terribly lazy when I'm not working, but I really do feel rough and I am sure that not being able to keep on top of things isn't helping much.

I assume I would have to degibble the place first, but then could rearrange things at my leisure afterwards, knowing that the floors and tiles and everything have been cleaned to within an inch of their lives. Well, I suppose that's what they do.

I don't think I could justify a cleaner weekly, but maybe just this once?

    What're your opinions?

JoJo - if you're not well, then a cleaner makes sense. I've had someon coming monthly (so far - it depends on cancellations) since i've been unwell and it really makes a difference. I have to make sure the place is tidy so she can clean, and it does motivate me to keep it a bit tidier in between. You can still polish the light switches and dust the door handles and stuff that you're up to, but it means you're not worrying about hoovering or mopping or scrubbing... I'd say go for it...

It was called the Matrix opti-straightening, i had it done about 6 years ago and my hair was poker straight. I'll phone the hairdresser today and put my AF mood to good use...:rotfl:

Jojo i would get a cleaner.

I'm awake just...DD nearly ready for school and once she's gone i'll make a start. It's gonna be a long day but will be worst it, i plan on a very relaxed weekend..:D
