OK, no flying happened on Tuesday night (as expected) and last night I only managed WM X 1, dinner made, put some clothes away, and the bins were emptied and put out for collection this morning.

I did do a little tidying this morning also, as I went along, but not much :( Oh well. Hope to have more energy tonight :)

My flying efforts are very lame - not a great deal to report. House is tidy-ish and am keeping on top of dailies....just about.

Im knackered, burnt out, exhausted. I am Stressed like you wouldnt believe, so not sleeping....thinking of things to do, which makes me more tired! Im also Sick of eating frogs, have gone right off the taste of them
(((HUG))) Step away from the plate of frogs for a few days - maybe til after the weekend, say?:o Sounds to me as if you could use a couple of days of pure xx_Jo_xx-time (not that I'd be taking my own advice, in the same situation, it's true, lol). It does sound like you've an excuse for a wee celebration tomorrow night though.;)
Decided to take the plunge and contact a window cleaner for a quote, as there is no way I'm going to do it in the near future. Hoping it won't be too expensive, as it would be nice to see out them properly for a change.

What could I expect if I got a cleaner in for a blitz of the house?

It's looking dingy, and I don't want to use all my energy (that hopefully will turn up in the next couple of days as the meds work) just on dealing with dust and grime.

I know it sounds terribly lazy when I'm not working, but I really do feel rough and I am sure that not being able to keep on top of things isn't helping much.
If you can hack it, go for it! I wish to goodness I could cope with the idea of a stranger coming in and cleaning, just as a one-off, because I can't do things like move the book-cases out as I used to years ago - when I was working, I used to take a fortnight's leave every April (incorporating my birthday, thus avoiding the "obligatory" birthday traipse to the pub;)) and totally and utterly blitz the entire house, from top to bottom. It irks me no end that I can't manage all that now.*sigh* but I've thought about it long and hard, and there is No Way On This Earth I could let someone in here to clean for me; it'd completely freak me out.:( But if you can stand it, then do it; once the super-blitz-clean is done, it's got to be a whole lot easier to stay on top of, right?:o

I seem to be struggling this week - the rheumy has cut off my Plaquenil, and I'm hurting even more than ever, weird pains in the long bones of my arms and legs for no discernible reason, and tired like even I wouldn't have believed possible; however,I've decided I need to have a very strict one-room-per-day system, no deviations, and am still toying with departing from the published lists, and having a rotation system of my own, thus:
    Monday: Kitchen
    Tuesday: Living room
    Wednesday: Bathroom
    Thursday: Bedroom
    Friday: Spare room plus hallway

Also, I'm having a carp day today, in that my lower dental plate has broken clean in half.:( I managed to call Mr LW at work, and he's taking tomorrow morning off, and has arranged for me to visit his dentist at 10:00 tomorrow, for impressions for new plates; they made my current ones for me, several years ago, and tbh, I've been thinking about getting replacements done, as they no longer fit properly, so this has pushed that to the top of the list.:(

Of course, Meg was due to arrive at 10:00 tomorrow (s0d's law!) but the dog-sitting company agent is now going to keep her with her for a couple of hours, and will bring her to me at midday.:o
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Afternoon all, i've filled the trailer with rubbish for tip and PIL are taking it for me so loads gone from the house and big shed. Front hall has been cleared, treadmil out, filing done, more shoes sorted, rubbish out and it's been hoovered. Bathroom has had a good clean and i've sorted through all the lotions and had a good flinging session. :D

Lunch has been scoffed and i'm knackered but at least i can see the end now. I must be half way through the house and it looks so much better. Think i'll go now and wrap some ebay sales and then make a start on clearing our room out.

I got talking to the hairdresser and she has said that i need one of the steps done again so i'm in next tuesday and it's free of charge..:j

    Afternoon all

Been very disciplined and done some of the kitchen this morning.

Off to help at school now, escorting the Yr5 down to the local lakes for a fun run, so hope nobody takes a dip.

Plan for later is to do the mending and check the credit card statements.

DD2 is off school due to tummy and back cramps through the night. I'm guessing that that plus the terrible moods she's having means her period must be do  It never comes at the same time each month so we never know and they are terribly heavy so she's on meds from the dr.
I let her sleep in for a bit but since she's been up she's cleared out and cleaned the food & baking cupboards. She's now eating lunch.
Someone left the airing cupboard door open so DC5 has been sleeping in there so I've had to retidy it and put lots in the WM :( and the DW is on for the second time.
