Feeling demotivated today! Have managed to get a few things done, and set up sewing machine too take up dh and ds1 trousers and made some veg soup!
My mum has rang and asked me to take my Dad to hospital again tommorow. Which i don't mind but they live 15 miles away and i need to get the children to school for 8.50 and 9.15 so we will need to be out of house by 7.30. I feel that she is taking advantage now, last week i put £115 of diesel in my car and it's crucified us! I don't want to say no, but they know were struggling and their more than comfortable! Sorry to moan!!!!!!!!!DFW Nerd #awaiting number - Proud to be dealing with my debts!
Dont cry because it's over, smile because it happened.

Morning.
Sat in the cafe with a huge latte after escorting Minion to the bus stop. I am absolutely dead on my feet.
But I HAD A GREAT NIGHT
Had loads of people say really nice things to me, including one rather well known gent, who told me I had a great ear and was obviously a talented bassist to be doing that after one yearOf course, being the only girlie in a huge bunch of muso blokes has its added advantages - lots of hugs and kisses, too
They want me back as a regular, and - shock horror - I even got a share in the whipround, so I GOT PAID :J
Crawled in just before midnight after the post gig drinks, crashed out, but woke up at 5 and have been up since 5.30, albeit mostly drinking coffee and chiseling off the stage makeup.
Which reminds me, someone asked about the BB cream. Yes, it is still a bit orangey for me - but the stuff from the goth shop takes it down rather well, and as I have tons of freckles and stage lights to contend with, it wasn't as noticeable as it would have been during the day. The texture was good, and it stayed well with mineral powder added on top, made a great base for the eye makeup too, as that was still in place this morning and not spread across the bedlinen or down my face. But no, I wouldn't wear it under daylight conditions.
I find the palest MAC foundation to be orangey, though, so it could be my general pastyfacedness doing that.
I need to do serious gibble removal today - assuming I don't just go back to bed, which is extremely appealing at the moment.
Glad the gig went well! Hope your hands are less sore today too.
& thanks for replying about the BB cream, I don't think I will buy this one again but have received an email about a new BB cream inspired foundation in Superdrug, might have to go have a lookey soon! Will let you know if it's any good.Heart pouring out alert.
Sorry I went awol last week. DS1 dropped a bombshell and it's taken some time to get my breath back. Some of the regulars may remember my happiness at his apprentice chef job? He was being used as cheap labour while the current staff had their holidays. The kitchen is now overcrowded and they have got rid of him. He thought it was his fault so didn't tell us for a week and pretended to go to work every day while he pounded the streets looking for a new job. He finally confided in his cousin who pointed out it wasn't his fault and that he had to tell us.
I am so winded. When someone hurts your child you can't imagine the pain you feel for them can cut so deep. DS1 is now very low and is being very uncommunicative and difficult. It's too late for him to go back to college as he's missed 5 weeks and he's too young to claim any benefit. I'm so furious the restaurant can treat a 17 year old so badly.
I wish I could say I feel better for typing it out but I don't
Sorry to read thisDefinitely try the college again, & make a complaint to whoever was advertising the job (I'm assuming it was an agency!). Hope something good comes of it.
Hi everyone!
My names Suzanne and i'm a newbie to this thread! Got my first house a year ago and try to keep on top of things but its no use! I'm hoping by following this thread i'll be able to make some progress.
I am only able to do my flying after work at 6pm and I usually only get one or two things done then I lose motivation. I am aiming for level 1 each day but not sure if i'll even make that to be honest, but every little counts right?
How does everyone do this? I'm gonna print of the list in the morning at work, then score off what I get done at night then report back the next day and carry on. I assume normal everyday things like dishes, wm, td and wiping down bunkers aren't included in the list?
Anyways, looking forward to getting to know everyone!
Happy Flying!
Sxxx
Welcome! Good to see you on this thread tooIt really is helpful although I did find it took some getting used to, but generally my house looks a lot better for it (still a long way to go though).

Good afternoon all, i'm just back from getting the brakes fixed so the car is nearly ready for winter. AF has arrived and i'm in a stinking mood, my hair is all abit fluffy and kinked so i went back to hairdressers who told me to wait a few weeks and see what it's like....:mad::mad::mad::mad: it won't magically go straight by itself.
Right i suppose i should make a start on the boys room and get everything packed up, the kitchen can wait until tonight. I need to get loads out for the tip run tomorrow. I will have a tidy house by the weekend..:D
