i need to rethink this flying! i think ill go off list and do my own lists keeping to the same things very week or just pick whichever room is needing done that day but still post if thats ok?
im finding myself dotting around the house coz bedding day is always monday and tuesday but sometimes bedrooms arent meant to be done till friday so im all over the place.
anyway im finally winning with the fight against iphones latest software. i wouldnt install properly but i took it out the back, had a few words and now it seems to be listening.
too tired again today. but then i was *ahem* up late with company
need to nip into town and get the lego for DS1 and nephew. my bro and his family are in glasgow for the weekend. they dont seem to think there are any w h smiths in glasgow. *rollseyes* then im away to my parents for a coffee before they head off tomorrow for a weeks holidays. dunno what ill do with the kids this next week coz ive spent every day with my mum. might go up to the aquarium with the male friend (its my ex-bf who i still have alot of feelings for but its complicated. we are just enjoying each others company without putting terms on it or him expecting commitment that i cant offer)

Been to the Fang Farrier, had impressions taken; I have to re-visit him next Friday, by myself:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: as Mr LW is wfh next Friday, but won't finish work til 14:30 and my appointment is 11:15. So I'll be taking the car out unsupervised.:eek::eek: If you're planning to be on the A509 between Milton Keynes and Olney next Friday - be somewhere else!:rotfl:Apparently I'll need to make several visits, so we'll have to see how that slots in with Mr LW's work.
Anyways, in the meantime, the Fang Farrier suggested a denture repair place in Newport Pagnell (on way home - just a quick divert ) and they were able to do a swift repair on the broken piece for me, in 40 minutes flat!
So we were still able to get home in time to welcome Meg, at midday. I have to say, she's one of the sweetest dogs I've ever met! Very quiet (well, she is 15), and she seems to have settled straight away - she's been snoozing in the lounge while we had a spot of dins (thank goodness I made enough Shepherd Spy yesterday to feed us today as well).
I've flicked a duster-onna-stick round the bits that hadn't yet been done, and tbh, I think I'm going to call it a week, now.:( Nothing's 'orribly filthy, and there are no hotspots/piles of gibble/piles of filing, or anything like that anywhere, so we shan't die from lack of flying on my part, I don't think.:o
I did kick off a towel wash before we went out, so those are out on the line now.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Wardrobes are looking fab, now i just need to put everything back. More old units to go out today and i need to find a place for rhys's cot. Gonna have a break now and head into town to do a few jobs then i'll get back to it as soon as i get back.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0

Now LW, as I have offered before I am quite happy to come and get you / wheelchair or what ever and take you to your appointments if you want, but I also know what the answer will be, but the offer is there if you change your mind.
Wm is all finished now, I do love my new machine, it takes a larger load 7kgs, :jit washes in a small amount of time, :jand spins at a faster speed so stuff is drier to start with. :j:jso I am sure it has to be very MSE :money:compared to the old machine.

OH it seems has been out and bought one of these new Iphones, it seems 'they' have already cut off his old one, and not conected up his new one, so he has no phone atm, as he has asked if he can borrow my PAYG dinoseaur! as he wants to go out on his motorbike, so I have said yes, and suggest I have his old phone! the matter is for discussion tonight apparently!:rotfl:( a woman WILL have her way!!)Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Now LW, as I have offered before I am quite happy to come and get you / wheelchair or what ever and take you to your appointments if you want, but I also know what the answer will be, but the offer is there if you change your mind.
Re next Friday - it'll be a bit of an adventure, and good practise in a way; Mr LW wants to visit the Merchants Inn in Rugby when he's on leave the 1st week in November, which will mean me going with him to drive him home (they have a beer festival on) so getting in a spot of driving practise will be helpful. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Today I have;
Stripped my bed.
Swept all downstairs, including the splats litter excavations.
Swept upstairs bathroom, landing and stairs.
Vacuumed downstairs.
Degibbled dinner table.
Abandoned Minion's clean washing on her bed.
Abandoned my clean washing on my small CoD.
Folded some towels. Picked some more up from the bathroom floor where someone had abandoned them.
Put WM and TD on (garden is still full of dew, so it isn't going to get any drier out there now)
Put DW on.
Moved armchair.
Regibbled second sofa.
Ignored gibble on coffee table again.
Cleaned hob and put cat bowls into hot water.
Changed cat bedding. Three cats currently unconscious on their clean bedding patches.
Wiped up 2 Minion drink spills she never noticed/CBA to do anything about.
Bleached downstairs loo.
Cleaned up cat nasties left in shower area, 5 foot away from the clean litter tray. Again.
Cleaned worktop where Morris and the Munchers live of loose tetrafin. I must do a 50% water change on them this week.
Hung coat, overshirt, scarf and stick by front door.
Had the bloke come to do the the boiler service. Without an appointment, he just turned up out of the blue.
Had blokes from the builders start repairing some cracks in the ceiling where the framework has shifted. They just turned up, as well.
Found out the back door lock is faulty, called in for a repair and I am currently waiting for someone to come and fix it by 5.
I am thinking about going to a gig tonight, but not sure as I'm planning on going to one tomorrow in any case.
Steroids have taken longer than usual to kick in, but I suppose I must have been worse this time round.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
LW - Kazw isn't at all scary, so do consider taking her up on her offer. After all, wouldn't it be nice to know that there is someone else around you can call on if MrLW is at work?0

Boy i'm tired, i've got a good bit done today but there is still loads left for tomorrow. My plan is to call it a day, take away pizza has been ordered for tea and boys have their club tonight so i'm gonna chill tonight. The mess isn't going anywhere...:oSometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0

The last time I went to the Merchant's Inn for a beer festival, they had painted the outside in brown & white spots to look like a cow, built a counter out of bales of straw in front of the barrels, covered the floor in straw and made nice arrangements of fruit and veg everywhere. Oh, and drew sheep all over the menu boards.:rotfl:‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.
