I have lost todays battle with the bed... :( Its half dismantled, but cant get the end panels off as there is no room for my arms between the end of the bed and the wall, so its going to have to stay where it is for now... stupid bed, stupid box room.

Gave up and went to start dinner. I quickly found that my chicken, which was in a vacuum packed back and still had two days to go on the use by date, was stinking... _pale_ so food waste has been put out and the fridge cleaned, along with the food bin :(

Not sure what to have for tea now as nothing is defrosted or can be cooked from frozen - plus i dont really want to go to the expense of a takeaway... Im supposed to be watching my pennies! :)

Off to scavenge something together for dinner....
:)Sometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying:)

I'm too old to be scary!:rotfl::rotfl:

XX Jo XX~ what is happening to this bed when it is apart? if it is going to the dump and doesn't matter too much, wack it with a hammer, to break it down in to managable pieces, if it is being rehomed is there anyone friend neighbour who can help you lift to a larger area, and then you can work at it.

How about :- Beans on toast, jacket spud and a filling, tin of soup and toast, or list what you do have and lets see what we can come up with.

Washing now sort of dry, folded and in airing cupboard to finish drying

DD2 and I went to my visit my friend this afternoon. We "helped" her with her felt Christmas stocking making lol.
Since we've come back DD2 has finished her side of the bedroom, though I haven't checked it yet and has hoovered the landing, stairs and hallway. I think she has finally realised that I was backing down on the "pocket money" thing. Go me!! :D
DD1 went to her boyfriend's straight from school so she'll have to finish her jobs over the weekend if she wants her money.
This weekend the only plans I have are to do a tip run or two tomorrow, hate going to the tip at the weekends :( then I can clean the car on Sunday. I might get around to painting the new fence and hopefully finish one of the nappy cakes.
Then it's study, study, study :o:(
But obviously everything will change if it rains tonight / tomorrow

S&S the kitchen, another load of washing put on. Well actually it was a few things I couldn't fit on the line earlier so left in the basket and the kitten found them :( I'm going to buy that kitten a nappy!:mad:
Haven't thought what to have for tea but I'm not hungry so it'll depend on what DD2 fancies, DD1 is eating at her boyfriend's :)

Hugs and spoons to all. Made a momentuous (sp?) decision.... just need to accept the fall out of it. Sometimes on the way to the dream, you find a better one. Although my decision is not necessarily a better one, for my (mental) health it is.

Have a good weekend all x
