Thanks MWC, the skin still feels a bit tight but the pain has gone.
At least I learned a lesson - get OH to cook from now on :rotfl:HelenDaveKids wrote: »Hope natty doesn't read about you trimming your front Bush..:rotfl:..

It's an ongoing joke at work too.. I think we're surrounding by smutty people :A
Anyway the front bush is now trimmed and the lawn mown and i'm half way through meal planning so i'm having a break by going shopping..just to look, not actually going to buy anything except a Father's Day Card..
Might go and find the paperwork for the cat insurance whilst OH is getting ready actually then that's another one half-ticked off the list..

Well I had an impromptu afternoon off work so I've had a bit of a catch up with some diaries, been to the garden centre
, bought a few bedding plants and eyed up some large planters for my blueberry bushes..
Filled up the car with petrol today after two weeks :j so it looks like my petrol spends will be roughly £80-85 a month, a saving of about £40 give or take..
So money spends today- £30 at the garden centre
- £38 on petrol, couldn't get anymore in!
- £2 lottery syndicate
My list of jobs is now completely finished and a new one started *sigh*, OH is at the gym watching the football so i'm finding some new recipes to add on to my already large meal planner just so I can get brownie points:rotfl:
This week we are having (noting them down so I can copy it in a few months, saves me doing the meal planner again!)- Singapore beef and noodles
- HM Lasagne and salad
- teriyaki chicken skewers with coconut and lime rice
- jacket, schnitzel and HM coleslaw
- BNS and spinach cannelloni
- pork and chorizo burger, chips, salad
- sweet potato fajitas (possibly adding chicken if OH objects
)

Talk about falling off the wagon!! I'm Anti-MFW this month
Not to worry I'm firmly back to it as I have to get back to my MFIT target otherwise I'll be kicked off the challenge :rotfl:(jk)
MFW activites this week :- eating a home grown strawberry (yes just 1 so far!)
- a couple of hours overtime
- stuck to meal plan
it'd be nice to say we haven't spent any money this week, but I visited the garden centre on Monday...
Off to meal plan for next week, might go outside as it's so sunny!

Afternoon :hello:
Ohhhh it's a hot one today - I've had to come in for a bit otherwise the sun will burn my lily white skin to death! I'm of Irish ancestry and you can definitely tell :rotfl::rotfl:I could be mistaken for a vampire!
OH is just giving the back lawn it's first cut  I've asked him nicely to try and not ruin it.. it cost too much to kill this fast! I've had a sneaky check and he's doing ok..:D
Only money spends this weekend have been on groceries.. although we're now over budget again with another week to go for the month - may have to ration us to just milk buying next week.
Off to check on OH again.. hope everyone is having a lovely sunny day xxMortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -
Hi there, yes,a lovely sunny day here too.
I sat out reading a book, but not for too long, as it was way too hot.
It must be nice to have a fresh lawn. We've had to put a lot of work into ours, and it is better now, but by no means perfect. Ideally, I'd like to rip it up and start again!Early retired - 18th December 2014

Thanks for popping in Goldie
Well that's another working week over:T 4.5 hours overtime done this week, a bit more to add to the pot!
I was hoping to spend the weekend in the garden as our new fire pit and beanbag have arrived, however, it's going to be persisting it down all weekendoh well it'll water the garden I guess..
Instead I will spend the weekend reading my free mags, meal planning for July and cleaning - the exciting life I lead! :rotfl:OH is away for the weekend so it's lovely and peaceful, just me and the moggy.
Money news :
The water bill came today, they only bill us twice a year so I'm never quite up-to-date with it. We're over budget by £16 which isn't too bad and I'm putting that down to the water we've used in the garden over the last few weeks.
Project for me will be researching water savings I think - first on the agenda - stop watering the garden! The grass is looking fine and the amount of rain we're going to have in the next few days should keep it going for a bit!
Hope everyone's got exciting plans for the weekend, have a good one xMortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -
Ohh i'm a bit chilly this evening.. sat here under my blanket with my jumper and slippers on! I've had to have all the windows open most of the day to air the house, the furry one has a poorly tummy again and had made the house a bit stinky _pale_ thankfully the house now smells of scented candles.. :j
Popped to the Post Office earlier to pick up a parcel, turned out to be a packet of free breakfast cereal for a survey :T that's 7 free breakfasts for OH.
The rest of the day I've spent catching up with surveys/diaries as i'm a bit behind. Not too far off payouts on a few but doing surveys is sooooo boring!!
Right off to carry on with the rest of the survey sites... dull, dull, dull :rotfl:Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -
OH has paid me so it's the second shuffle of the month.. :j
- paid off credit card
- £200 off family loan
- £600 odd paid off car loan - new figure saved £3,618.05:T
Monthly spend for June £274/£288
Year to date spend £1565/£3000 so £65 over where we need to be
Off to change my signature..Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -
I've had a bit of a negative week, rubbish days at work, bad diet and now my "new to me" car is playing up so that has to go back to the garage and be fixed *big sighs* sod's law it's just outside it's warranty period so it's going to cost
I'm pretty much a glass half empty pessimistic person anyway but this week seems to have knocked me down a bit more...
I see positive people and would love to be one but don't know how to become one IYKWIM. Can you change your core way of thinking especially when you're surrounded by negative people a lot of the time?
Anyway will definitely need to start looking at the positives in life and see if it can help and I've bought some multi-vitamins to see if they can make me less tired - they're the own brand "you, but on a really good day" type vitamins so fingers crossed I can be me, but on a really good day from now on
Spendy week coming up :- car to be fixed - seatbelt sensor keeps going off even when i'm wearing my seatbelt
- hair cut and colour tomorrow :j can't wait to get rid of the grey roots!
- exercise at least 3 times
- take a multivitamin every day
- keep within my calorie count
- eat healthily
- listen to my hypnosis thing at least three times
- be in bed and asleep by 10.30
