Thanks GG and Peonie, I'm a little bit in love.. :smileyhea He looks a bit French with his moustache and it makes me laugh every time I see him! (I'm a weirdo, I've accepted it!)
To explain...:o:o
I had more car issues over the weekend, I now have to drive to work with a swimming pool in my front footwell  so i'd literally had enough (I have low tolerance levels :rotfl:) but that's the 4th thing that's gone wrong in less than a month...
Coincidentally, my sister was up visiting and offered to lend me some cash so instead of saving to get the car I'm just paying her back instead.. it works out the same except I get the car a lot quicker!!:D
Off to change signature and my spreadsheet - the cost was only £7k in the end so less than originally planned.
Promise we'll stop spending after this week.. honest!
Take care xxMortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -

I had one as a courtesy car once. No petrol in it which shouldn't have mattered as I was only going home and back to the garage. Ended up putting £5 so I could go for a drive round roundabouts going 'wheeeeeeeee' :rotfl:.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

So onto some money saving for the week, lord knows I need to start pulling in the reins!- £10 voucher ordered from mysurv*ys
- £10 voucher ordered from CP
- £2.25 survey done on youg0v
- £22 paid onto credit card by accident, meant it go to savings so have done that too
- started the Paul McKenna hypno band thing - halved my food intake today so hopefully it'll reduce the grocery budget
wishful thinking, no?
Off to bed, need to follow new rule of being in bed ready to sleep by 10.30!!

need to pay for the garden now it's finished - £3500
budgeted £5000 for garden so saved £1500 - will add this to car fund instead
car insurance has been sorted, only £40 extra for the rest of the year
road tax has been paid by the garage so I can now save the £10 that I budgeted for road tax
car is already MOT'd so can pay myself back 5 months of budget that I was saving for MOT
OH paid so money shuffle done
need to pay for cute car but..
need to pick up cute car :j:j
I think on the grand scale of things it's mostly positive if you ignore the fact that a lot of money is leaving my accounts this weekend  :rotfl:
I put it into perspective this afternoon after a chat to a colleague who was paying nearly £5k for a holiday and does most years. We haven't been on holiday for 3 years, therefore technically, we've saved £15k to spend on what we like, surely? :rotfl::rotfl:
Off to visit MIL.. so be back later to sort my signature and to catch up with everyone xxMortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0
