No problem. I don't think ISAs are the easiest things to understand. I believe you can credit the ISA and still transfer it when the ISA account year completes. I've never tried it as I'm sure someone will tell me I'm not allowed to.Pots: House £6966/£7100, Rainy day Complete, [STRIKE]Sunny day £0/£700[/STRIKE], IVF £2523/£2523, Car up-keep £135/£135, New car £5000/£5000, Holiday £1000/£1000, MFW #16 £2077/£3120

Today we've been tidying the garden, with the help of the tree surgeon fella..
He was here for 3-4 hours tidying some hedges, the climber stuff on the house and cut 3-4ft off the 10ft hedge that separates us from the neighbours, oh and he also cut my washing line in half! It cost us £180, within budget :j but the neighbour also offered us £50 towards the cost of the shared hedge so even more yeahhh :T
We then went to H0mebase and spent the £50 on other garden stuff :rotfl:
So the borders are now weeded and barked, OH has cut the grass (and killed the lawn mower  more expense for a new one), the nettles have been chopped and weedkillered and the fruit trees have had a bit of a pruning..
We still haven't received the quote from the garden fella for the hard landscaping we want done  even though OH chases him most weeks. I don't have any ready cash to pay him anyway so best to put it off so I can save some :rotfl: although i'd like to know how much it would cost eventually.
I'm now pooped so going to have a relaxing night in front of the tv!
xx
p.s. also tried a shop at A1di again this morning, went really early and it was empty, much more enjoyable experience and only spent £25 on loads of stuff - might have to start going there again (occasionally:D)Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -

Day 2 of week 2 trying to do reporting on our new system.. it's not good, at this rate I'll be the one crying in the corner at the end of the week!

May have spent a bit more at the butchers than I intended - £94  however the freezer is packed tight!
I was discussing with a colleague the other day how much the cheaper the butchers would be compared to the supermarket so I did a bit of nerdy comparison to convince them that using the butchers is the way to go..
Total spend at butchers £94, same spend at Tesc0 (by weight) £168:eek: a saving of £74:j the best savings were on chicken, steak and lamb at almost half the price.
Now this butchers is a wholesale butchers so it isn't the same quality as a high-street one, but it's still a darn sight better quality than a supermarket!
Got a lovely stew cooking in the slow cooker as we speak  cost £3.33 for the beef and £1.50 for the veg, will easily feed 4 people!:D my vote's with the butchers all the way!!Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0
