Ewwww disgusting! weird lips, weird eyes and ears. and weird photos of his hand trying to find his todger.
Apart from the todger pic (I just wonder at some people) you can't really blame him for his looks tbh.

And in honesty Lisa, it's not a good idea to post personal details of anyone on any site, if they don't endorse it. It can be trouble legally.

He has a public profile on a free dating site, if he went crying to a solicitor to say I've shown people his public profile and a message from my private inbox I think he would be laughed at.

There are no personal details not even his name, anyone could find him in a search and he has made his profile public. I certainly wouldn't go crying to anyone for posting a link to my profile, if I didn't want people to see my photo I'd not have it on my profile.

Although clearly it is !!!! after another rather strange message, I attract weirdos x
  • Hi

I am new to this dating lark, and have been registered with POF for a couple of weeks now.

I have been chatting to someone who is slightly younger (45, I am 50), and thought we might have something in common. However, he does not seem that interested in finding out anything about me. The phrase "just not that into you" seems appropriate.

It seems odd that if you ask someone for example "What's your favourite food?" they just answer and don't ask about yours. It seems like such hard work.

Where am I going wrong? I am chatty and ask them all sorts of interesting questions, just get one or two word answers. Why do they bother? Why not just say - not interested?

Is this to be expected or should I persevere?

    Thanks

Look nice to me, I would have sent you a message if I was dating. You don't look strange, although I'm not sure about the newbie guide tbh.
Best of luck! I think everyone attracts weirdos on POF fish by the sound of it, I wouldn't take it to heart.

Had a strange one from a woman in the early hours of this morning.

Shes from the rough as hell part of town.
    22 year my senior.
Messaged me to go to her house. "Now".
    Quite ugly.
    Seemly mental.

I did not go to her house. I think shes a potential serial killer.

Is there anyone normal on these sites?
Hi there! We’ve had to remove your signature. It was so good we removed it because we cannot think of one so good as you had and need to protect others from seeing such a great signature.
  • Pleased to announce that I have a second date with the man I met up with on Friday :D We're going out again on Thursday and having chatted to him since Friday there definitely seems to be mutual attraction. A second date is definitely a lovely Christmas present for me :)
