what are the best value dating sites?

Are these sites actually worth it or are they mainly just full of scammers? I'm thinking of joining one of the sites but how do you know who's genuine or not?

I've been on my own for about 6 months now, so not really sure what I want other than to start to get out and meet someone - but not weirdo's!!

bit hit and miss it seems

If your female you get lots of messages, lots of sex pests- but some genuine guys there

If your a guy, its hard lot of nil replies and it can get you down.

just been having a look on pof to get some idea of what's what on there and saw one of my ex's mates is on there :eek: now I'm scared to sign up with a photo in case he sees it and tells my ex! lol
