Me too Slinky, me too. And I like reading the posts. There has been some great news on here recently (Butterflies & MessedUp spring to mind) & it is so much better on here than the dating site...

I'm off to a charity fun day today (alone & in the rain) & tomorrow I'm going to the cinema (alone but at least it will be dry ) then to a friend's party where I shall be the only single female (again) & where I shall be interrogated as to why I STILL haven't found a partner. Hey everyone,

I'm more of a lurker than a poster. I just feel the need to rant a bit today though. I have been on OKCupid for a few months, at first it was great, loads of emails, from what seemed like normal guys, met a few, all nice men, just not really my type.

The only problem now is that I am finding I have very little activity, no one is emailing me, or bothering to reply to my emails. Does this happen to most people? I have added new photos and changed my profile a bit to try and appeal to different people, who may not have looked at my profile before, still with no luck though.

Do you find that as you have been on a dating site for a while, you tend to become pickier? I end up just scrolling through hundreds of profiles with absolutely no interest. Maybe this should be an indication that I need to take a break.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend, and to those of you who have found that special someone, a huge congratulations, you give me hope that my Mr Right might turn up one day.
