They all seem charming, funny, and great until you meet them then many show their true colours.
Enjoy it but be careful x
Well thats the same as meeting someone in the pub tho...seem charming when they're buying you a drink for the first time, but then... well you know.
I am a good judge of character, as it happens.
Even when they are online.
I can spot the married ones a mile off, the weirdos in 5 mins and the ones with not so good intentions after one conversation.
But this guy is so different...something about him! Cant explain it...Even when you feel like you have nothing, someone else has far less. Find them and help them. You’ll see why.....0 -
have you met him?0

Not trying to be a killjoy, but temper your expectations.
I find it's better to meet people asap before you go making a mental image of them that will usually get shattered upon sight of them in the flesh.
Good luck.0 -
I agree Peater....I won't get my hopes up! Well I will try not to.Even when you feel like you have nothing, someone else has far less. Find them and help them. You’ll see why.....0

If you want some help to brush up your profile on PoF, go into the forum there. There's a thread that's dedicated to just that and other users both male and female will tell you what you're doing right ...... and wrong.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.

Try to think of your profile name that sums you up.
Read other guys profiles ....see which ones you think are good and the ones that are terrible.
Type a few lines about yourself.
Then you'll find that you'll go back again and again to edit it, cos you'll think of something better to put down.
I have met a really great guy through POF. I thought the site was awful...lots of seedy men and weirdos, but there are diamonds in the rough i can assure you.“Nobody can go back and start a new beginning,
but anyone can start today and make a new ending.”

Whats your username?
Don't go into the profile review forums on POF it is full of yanks and their idea of dating etc is different to ours.0 -
Well, I've been bumbling around the pof website for about 3 days now, have been exchanging msg with a few normal seeming guys one of them is, superficially, my type (where's the drool icon??) :rotfl:
Am a bit out of touch - what, in terms of relationships, are 'head games'? (no sexshual comments please)
EDIT: Still waiting with anticipation for an unacceptable msg0
