  • 3rd exit from a roundabout, turning right - right hand lane, just passing 2nd exit indicate left and move over

So: Ignore the highway code and markings indicating what lane to take, assume you know better, take the lane YOU think is correct, get annoyed at people obeying the rules of the road and get angry as you almost crash into them?

I dont see how the choice of lanes is an issue here. It seems clear to me that you should be in the left. To requote the relevant section of the highway code:
"When taking an exit to the right or going full circle, unless signs or markings indicate otherwise - signal right and approach in the right-hand lane"

This would infer that there are times when you shouldnt be in the right hand lane to turn right (indicated by markings), and this roundabout is one such case.

Has anyone noticed how dangerous it is to use a roundabout to go back the same way (ie you v missed your turning) why is it the 95% of drivers dont expect this and pull out in front of you.?

At least it's predictable, and I'm always ready to brake. (and quite ofen do)

    Yeah I know, you're terrible.

There are no lane markings therefore what you did was dangerous - there is no lane where you are trying to make one. Granted the Focus driver could've been more observant but given that's most likely a hire car I'd have given it a wide berth anyway and would never have tried to undertake it like you did.

If you think an insurer would rule that the Focus driver was 100% at fault there if you'd hit them, you're deluded.

How did I undertake? I remained behind the driver..... Who's deluded?

    *Facepalm*

You began an undertake. Are you really going to try and deny it?

Just a couple of comments on that.
You've always argued anyone going straight on shouldn't indicate.
I can hear your engine, the horn, the comments.
Can't hear the ticking of your indicator though. Seems odd to complain about others in that case.

You're well onto the left for the sliproad as well, the attempted undertake wasn't clever.

If you remained behind the driver at a safe following distance (which you never were at any point in your video, but were worse on the roundabout) you'd never have had to use your horn, be alarmed or post the video.

He thought an insurer would pay for his last accident, but never came back to tell us.

Paid up 100% in my favour, I did tell you all this.......

It's utterly amusing how so many people seem to think Mr Focus didn't do a thing wrong.... No scrap that.... It's f*cking scary!!

As I said - his observation could be better so that he'd notice a !!!! in a Vectra taking an uneccessary approach to a roundabout which has no defined lanes
