Thank you
It was a Twitter competition that Noddle (the free credit report service) were running. It was give your best tip to keep on track with your finances. I'm pretty good at that now!
Some good news on the old debt busting front:- My First Direct account is closed. Hoorah!
- I had a refund from Boots (£18.80) after cancelling my contact lenses subscription (I have 19 months of lenses and they keep sending me more and I was paying for them!) so that has gone on my CC
- My expenses should be here tomorrow, so I'm putting £200 towards my CC, meaning next month I'LL HAVE NO BARCLAYCARD!

Hi all,
Just some more MSE news. Got my expenses today, so paid £200 towards my Barclaycard, so it's now below £500! Still want another £150 off before 15th February (next pay day) so I can pay it off and cancel it!
So my total since January 2011 is over £10k of debt repayment!DEBT FREE SINCE 25.07.14!

It's been a hard slog, but I'm getting there slowly. I'm just hoping being DF isn't an anti climax

Oh I know what you mean about the anti-climax! I have the same worry. Also I have a default that is due to drop of my credit file in October this year so will still have that to look forward to if I'm DF before Easter as I am hoping!

I have a lot of closed accounts and credit cards soon to drop off too. Sadly my default on my CC was last August and the times we went over the OD was earlier in the year, so that'll be a while yet
DF before Easter? That's pretty amazing! That's only 2 months away!DEBT FREE SINCE 25.07.14!
