What do you guys include with the book when you sell/send it? Do you print off the details that come thru with the email?

  • I send the 'print delivery label and packing list' that you find on the order page.

It has the customer's address and all the order details etc.

Drop shipping is a type of retailing in which the retailer does not keep goods/product in stock, but instead passes customer orders and shipment details to wholesalers, who then dispatch the goods to the customer directly. The retailers make their profit on the difference between the wholesale and retail price.

  • My first month being a pro seller went great, sold over 30 - but sales have come to a complete halt. I've only sold 1 book in the last week, out of about 250 listed.

I wonder if my one neutral (out of 24) is affecting me. The buyer left positive words but a neutral score, and haven't responded to emails

Was wondering about how long it would be before I could give up the day job - no chance now!
  • Hi there scooby - don't despair, you've just hit a bit of a slump, I've been selling in Amazon for almost 5 years now and I've had plenty of unexplainable peaks and troughs, when this happens I go and spend a couple of pounds on stock and it just seems to kick start it all again.
  • Please can I ask another dumb question please?

I am trying to create a new listing for a book which is not on Amazon. When I tried though - it brings up a listing on Amazon.ca. and it won't let me create a new listing it states: Sorry, 'this product is ineligible for Amazon Marketplace selling at this time:'

    Any ideas

Can someone see a way around this please? I've no idea I'm afraid...

    Hi AT

Not sure where I read it, possibly on the Amazon Board - perhaps Rupert could help out here?

What I think was said was something along the lines of create the listing with a minor error so that it doesn't come up as being the same as the one listed on .ca, then once your listing is created go back and edit it.

Hope that's about right - but I have never created a listing myself so am only talking theoretical.

You have to cheat :rotfl: Dont enter an ISBN and change the title slightly so it doesnt match the item on .Com. You can always go back and edit once the listing is created.
