Wahoo, I sold another book today!

I listed a whole bunch of them last week and have made 2 sales already. Given the potential fiasco of the first sale (see my post about wrong isbn) this was a welcome relief.

The Amazon pre-order list - is it only in Word or can you export it into Excel to filter or order it?

I import mine straight to Excel - much simpler.

Arghhh...my new PC has neither Word or Excel and it is driving me ^%&*(&^% crazy as everything I want to do, including updating some of my Amazon accounts depends on my old Excel or Word documents. I've got Works which is useless and can't afford the £80+ for Excel and Word. Hmm, must ask my OHs accountant whether we can claim it as a business expense :j

I did download the sellers waiting list, but it just says I have no programme that will open it. %^&$%^

I found a programme that would open my old files but I could not add to them so I will have to actually manually type all the info into a new programme. Blast it.

You may have to save in open office format to add to your files but I am reasonably certain you'd be able to export if ever you wanted to go back to the expensive MS trundlewheel at a later date.

If you click on the "start" button bottom left of your screen and access your programmes you should have Wordpad in your accessories folder which will open the downloaded buyer waiting report.

Unfortunately, I find that the data never makes much sense unless you can export it into excel and then sort it based upon descending prices

This is the first time I have posted anywhere on MSE so please forgive any errors.

I have just started selling books on Amazon and would like to add images. There are details about what is an acceptable image but I can find nothing about how to upload images. A related question is - does one have to use image hosting or will they upload from the hard drive like they do for ebay?
