My listing page is still missing :-( thanks for the suggestion, after thinking about it till my brain hurt I looked at the date of the last relisted book and checked back 2 months in my Amazon relisting emails to find ones no longer showing in the open listings [not sure that makes sense]. Anyway I did a search through Amazon home page and the listings were still active but just not showing in my list of listings - am now off to lie in a darkened room

Aha, I knew there would be a simple explanation!
I've never checked before as I used to double check my listings every 60 days when they closed, but now I'll carry on with my programme of checking a few every day.
Thank you for all those who responded!

Well, my first sale for a week or two today.. Although obviously pleased I'm still a bit unhappy about the charges that amazon take
Postage & Handling: £2.75
Total Amount: (£4.25)
Less Amazon.co.uk Marketplace Fees: (£1.41)
Less VAT on Amazon.co.uk Marketplace: (£0.20)
Total Due Seller: £2.640 -
This came up a few months ago on the part 6 or 7 thread - you can use a credit card at the PO to pay for your postage and if you have a card that gives you rewards or cashback it all helps.
I spend around £500/600 at the PO every month (ebay as well as amazon) and use a tesco card so I get around £6 in points per month just for the PO, this is £70-ish per year, if this is used on Clubcard Deals it's worth 4 times the amount so that's £280 or so to spend on things like the RAC and country hotels etc, there have been new deals added so there are things as diverse as Open University and funerals to spend your points on now.0 -

Yes, it's true! I send a lot of stuff overseas and the parcels can be £20 each so it soon mounts up, I think that with that kind of outlay the staff should give me a cuppa, a biscuit and an armchair while they process my parcels though....0

They smile through gritted teeth I think, I wait till 30 minutes before the last van of the day so that I can pack any last minute amazon orders, I turn up at 4.30 with a huge plastic sack full of boxes and a carrier bag of small packets, if by chance I don't need to post anything, on the next day they ask me where I was!0 -

Have you considered that you may save even more by getting a Royal Mail Account?
Spending this much should surely qualify, though if less than 2/3rds are packets/large letters sent within the UK you may not. You do need to be spending over £100 a week on postage to qualify, plus the account status means you pay for January's post at the end of February!
I was spending a comparable amount each month on primarily packets & Large Letters and have saved a small fortune, plus can now send up to 2kilo's 2nd class and my daily average for packets is about 1.39 and LL 55pDo You Twitter?

Hi there rare_stuff, tell me more, I'm intrigued....
I'll tell you what I post out - in an average week there are:
about 10 small letters,
about 20 large letters,
about 25 x 1st class under 2 kilo parcels and packets,
about 8 x standard parcels over 2 kilos
about 20 overseas airmail parcels under 2 kilos.
Note the use of the word 'about' each week is different0
