I'm much more of a boot girl myself, but I've been much better lately and not gone crazy. I have about 12 pairs but they all get worn regularly and the last two pairs I bought were in the sale!No longer using this account for new posts from 20130

100 Pairs of shoes, 9 pairs of flip flops...........IMELDA you did not tell us how many pairs of shoes you have? CONFESS! I don't find it eazy to find "COMFORTABLE" shoes maybe that's why I don't get it......make up is my weakness I always wear a full face....even buying not expensive cleanser, toner, moisturiser ( M&S) I still spend £42 per month and my hair costs another £30...since I was 21 that means I've spent just under £20k on my face and hair (hubby says I always look nice though;) and we,ve been together for 23 years)...I've tried using ultra cheap products ..they bring me out in a rah and end up costing me a fortune to clear up....THE Cost of being a women hey
Must dash I'm off to the shops to stock up on Make-up!!!!!!!!!!? 0 -
Am male, and have over 60 pairs of shoes, boots etc, and love shoes, Always take an empty suitcase with me when I go on my annual New York work trip, to stock up on more, you can never have enough shoes, just need to find a cheaper supplier of Jeffrey West shoes. My GF is exactly the same, yet she has over 120 pairs!!! I cannot and will not do "cheap" shoes, nothing worse than seeing a bloke in a smart suit and tatty shoes.0

Um ok, well yesterday I had no idea how many pairs I had, I had a little count up last night:
Boots: 18 pairs Including a pair of cowboy boots that were in fashion once- honest!
Shoes: 33 pairs
sandals: 46 pairs  Including my prized strappy and sparkly Gina ones I bought out of my bonus a few years ago before I got into debt, even doing the housework in them makes me feel good
flip flops: 12 pairs (bought cheap as chips in Australia years ago!)
trainers: 6 pairs
Total: 115   :eek:Saving for an early retirement!0 -

foxybabe wrote:my theory on the shoe thing is .... you don't change shoe size, i am a size 5 and have been for as long as i can remember. So you can buy loads of shoes that reflect your personality. whereas you can go up and down a size in clothes, plus fashions change so you don't buy more than you need as you would end up throwing them out.
You do if you're pregnant! I've gone from a 7 to an 8 in the space of 9 months! The joys of water retention...Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043
