Its part of the job so there should be no problem. I have to buy it and then return in (no I don't get more pay then usual for doing this extra part haha). I just wanted to find a good enough excuse to return the item after only 1 hour.TractorGirl327 wrote: »i usually say something like it was a gift for my sister/brother/mother/father , and I just phoned my husband to say I'd got it and he's been out this morning and already got something ............
Thanks. I should have be more clear that I am buying it for myself this time. But I will keep that one in mind the next time I need to return something I purchased for others.0 -
I like the food in the places. I don't mind doing reimbursement only jobs if I want what is being reimbursed, and if the report is short. I took this one before I saw the questionnaire.
I haven't done any work for AA in an age, but I keep them on in case something turns up somewhere I am anyway. Also, for me, they suck less than RE.
Ok but surely there is a line where your time is worth more than the reimbursement and it would be cheaper to actually spend money buying the food ?
I work out what my minimum time is worth and then evaluate the cost of the item to decide if its worth doing or not.
Some people value their time a lot less than I do mine it seems.0 -
Which was the poor visit?
If you gave the burger less than 100% then the dear john is likely on its way
Burger was actually ok, just a really long queue. They want me to confirm that I have been described correctly. Think I'm earmarked now....
Would only miss them for the 'booty call premiums'Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk

I agree with you - that's why I decided not to do that job after I saw the length of the report.0 -
Someone needs to MS Littlewoods. Just received a parcel from their courier which had clearly either been placed on a train track overnight or been sitting in the centre of the motorway. Black vehicle marks all over it, ripped and squashed. Why bother delivering it when I'm just going to laugh in their face and reject it? Common sense prevails....0

they will be using cctv to check your timings, if there is the slightest error they could bin you, if youre correct, you may be ok.
I was ok after queried timings on a long wait, it was just my pic was passed around stores that meant i cant do burger jobs, gap let me do others though0 -

What do they mean you "have been described correctly?" Are they saying they've handed out a picture of you without your knowledge or consent?
I'm hearing MS companies doing this more and more recently. I'm sure theres something in the MSPA guidelines that prohibits them from doing so...*pootles off to investigate further.*This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0 -
I got a job coming up where I need to buy an £100 item if the sales advisor did a good job selling and then have to return the item an hour or more later. What sort of believable excuse do one use to return an item that was only just purchased 1 hour earlier?
gonna guess react shoes? i say tried them on with a few outfits not my style0 -

no not quite, read my post above
the store have cctv and signs that they do and that you agree to be filmed by entering.
They will be querying the timings and will have said to gap we have observed a person of this description and followed their timings etc
gap are asking, does that description match
so no one is passing the picture around... it was only when the store did that to me and i found out that i kicked off and they were reprimanded for it, although was just a slap on the wrist for the sake of it.0 -

I've just had the exact same happen to me. The timings were terrible but everything else was fine. And now I have to confirm a description of me, AND my mate!!! The description was miles out and I was on my own, as always.
Them burger people just can't accept a bad report can they? It's always the shopper at fault.0
