No

Had a funny call this morning from ESA. They needed someone to visit a high end fashion shop, ask for an item.. in Japanese! To test their ability to converse in the language.
And they know from my profile that I speak Japanese.
So I asked them .. "you know I'm white, how weird would that be that I go into the shop and speak in Japanese" he said "ehm .. ok let me call you back in five minutes" .. he hasn't...
He finally called back! He agrees it wouldn't be seen as realistic. He liked the suggestion that I could go with my wife, or she alone, and do the talking (she IS Japanese ) He'll get back to me again ..Misty_Blue wrote: »There is a also a referral fee on completion of the visit for registered shoppers who can refer a suitable Japanese speaking shopper to us. do i get the referral fee for refereing him ?0 -
Those eye tests are starting to go in my area.
I wonder how long it will be until they start re-appearing ?:D0 -

They evidently realised when I asked a receipt so the exercise was futile, and also one of the timing points didn't register. I didn't have a backup timing device (slapped wrists).
Advice?
I actually enjoyed my meal (shock horror) so if I don't get paid for this one it won't be the worst thing.
correct advice, would be to redo the shop having rescheduled it.
incorrect advice would be to make up the missing timing
I hopefully only give correct advice0 -

Yesssssss. Got my second FT in the local cinema. Vampires are more popular than the last film I did, so two screens to check this time. 5pm and 6pm after work, shouldn't be too bad.
I have a question. It says in the notes that you aren't allowed to stay for the film, so I diligently got up and left after the trailers during the last film. However the manager had disappeared and I had to call him down again so nobody knew when I was going in and out... just a bit concerned for them. This happened to anyone else?0 -
Blimey, what happened to all the cars? There were pages of them this morning but they're almost all gone!0

They posted all the cars incorrectly, if you notice they were all posted twice. Firstly individually and then as circuits, so it looked like there were twice as many as there actually were.0 -

You just want to know who's getten away with it, don't you?
Do you not have to see the manager again afterwards and get him to confirm your list and sign it off? I don't know, I can't remember.0 -

No, just not sure if you're supposed to be escorted in and out of the screen as the manager seemed somewhat lackadaisical ... yes I got him to sign it off when I left the cinema completely but not in between screens. Ah well, if they're fine with that, no bother.0 -
Cheesy peeps, but Amber Arch really do take the mick, don't they? I they've finally uploaded the questionnaire for a visit I agreed to do - 5 days after the start of the window for the visits. The 'circuit' will take about 3 hours, and the report is enormous. No fee and a piddly reimbursement. Still waiting on an email with the visit guidelines, but I think someone else might be doing this visit, cos I'm pretty sure it's not worth it for me.0
