Cheesy peeps, but Amber Arch really do take the mick, don't they? I they've finally uploaded the questionnaire for a visit I agreed to do - 5 days after the start of the window for the visits. The 'circuit' will take about 3 hours, and the report is enormous. No fee and a piddly reimbursement. Still waiting on an email with the visit guidelines, but I think someone else might be doing this visit, cos I'm pretty sure it's not worth it for me.

Too right. Tell them to stick it where the sun don't shine. I find the fees they offer insulting.

No, just not sure if you're supposed to be escorted in and out of the screen as the manager seemed somewhat lackadaisical ... yes I got him to sign it off when I left the cinema completely but not in between screens. Ah well, if they're fine with that, no bother.

In one place I've been escorted to the screen but never out. I also only get them to sign it off at the end, not in between each screen. A lot of the managers are always rushed off their feet, so I try not to bother them more than I have to. Most of the time they just let you get on with it. The other checks I do you don't even have to get it signed off when you leave, so I just find any member of staff and get them to pass on the message to the manager that everything was ok.

I've just completed one of those. Trust me..it's not worth it. Landed up taking over four hours, before I even started on the gigantic report, and endless queries. Practically working for free!

  • Hi guys,

Has anyone else been really scrutinised by Gyp this week? I did a burger and a chicken at the weekend and I have queries on both. One was a really poor visit and the other was just a long queue... Is this part one of the immenent 'Dear John' letter?
Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk

Totally agree with you on that one. If you think AA pay really badly, ditch them. Simples.

    Which was the poor visit?
If you gave the burger less than 100% then the dear john is likely on its way

I like the food in the places. I don't mind doing reimbursement only jobs if I want what is being reimbursed, and if the report is short. I took this one before I saw the questionnaire.

I haven't done any work for AA in an age, but I keep them on in case something turns up somewhere I am anyway. Also, for me, they suck less than RE.
