I've just had the exact same happen to me. The timings were terrible but everything else was fine. And now I have to confirm a description of me, AND my mate!!! The description was miles out and I was on my own, as always.
Them burger people just can't accept a bad report can they? It's always the shopper at fault.

I love it when they invent a "friend"! They did that with me once and I assured them that, no, whoever on earth this shady character was, they had nothing to do with me, and nor did I have any idea what they ordered.

I've had loads of burger jobs queried and they have never succeeded in invalidating any. Also, no sacking yet... It's been over two years, thinking about it.

Perhaps your real name isn't Donald Duck then...? Have you checked the name in your passport or driving licence? ;)

What do they mean you "have been described correctly?" Are they saying they've handed out a picture of you without your knowledge or consent?

I'm hearing MS companies doing this more and more recently. I'm sure theres something in the MSPA guidelines that prohibits them from doing so...*pootles off to investigate further.*

You probably have a case with the Information Commissioner’s Office ... so many things are wrong with them handing out images from CCTV. If the MS company drops you then I think you should peruse it as a breach of data protection. They clearly have gone further then "IMAGES ARE BEING RECORDED FOR THE PURPOSES OF CRIME PREVENTION AND PUBLIC SAFETY" or the notice in the brief.

Ok but surely there is a line where your time is worth more than the reimbursement and it would be cheaper to actually spend money buying the food ?

I work out what my minimum time is worth and then evaluate the cost of the item to decide if its worth doing or not.

Some people value their time a lot less than I do mine it seems.

I agree with you - that's why I decided not to do that job after I saw the length of the report.

I think the issue is for many the 'line' is different.

Experience has a lot to do with it. Those that are knew will not fully understand what is required and the length of time. That as well as having the ability to compare the fee against similar work and have the option to complete other work instead.

Also, circumstances. I for example spend a lot of time on my computer. My mother and boyfriend both comment on it, although my question is, what would you like me to do instead?

A good example id the royal mail postal panel. £8ish a month for all the faffing with envelopes and recording data. No way works out to minimum wage, but I'm sat in my bedroom with the TV on and literally have nothing else to do. So the extra £8, although a small fee for the work, is better than doing nothing at all productive with my time (notice the none ms example, i'm not silly lol)

My bits and bobs add up eventually. If not I would be sat watching crap on the TV all night like a zombie. At least this was i'm getting a few quid for watching tv while sat at my computer.

For those who have better and more important things to do fine, but, i don't.

And i'm not a total social recluse. One has been out for a meal at Chiquto's (With my 20% voucher) and to the cinema (with my free sky voucher for Trespass), But I am tight and I do love a freebie lol
I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!

I had a Gap burger queried and they described me when I marked them down on not offering dip with my nuggets. I stuck to my guns as they wanted to make sure I had given them a chance to offer before I asked for the dips. I got paid and can still do that location.
