I've been trying to convince myself that I don't need an iPad for weeks now, been looking at 3G enabled netbooks instead. But an iPad would be so much cooler...0

Eggs usually have a months date on them-- I used to freeze them-- Somtimes yolks and whites or just scramble... into ice cube trays about 2 ice cubs for a large egg 1 for a medium. I generally use my hand blender to scramble as it gets them nice and mixed.
Also they last for a year!0 -

Yeah I know what you mean -- when I first started egg jobs i had a B&B with chickens so we always had lots of eggs. I used to go out in my community giving them out to local families that i knew. I know there are a lot of elderly where I live and they appreciate it!0 -
Used most of them up now, although if I ever see scrambled eggs on toast again it'll be too soon lol. This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0

I find the thing that annoys me the most isn't having lots of eggs, as with keeping chickens you get used to having gluts sometimes, it's the fact that I have to give away our lovely fresh eggs and eat the shop ones. If I started to give away shop ones with date stamps all over them I would have to answer questions as to why I bought eggs when I keep chickens and already have eggs. I do egg shops and then go and apologise to our chickens.0
