Google it. It's the Islamic Xmas Part 2. I've done all pastries and cooking and baking. So tired now! Got the house to clean.....can someone help?
:D:D
Nope, I've got my missus to clean up after.
Word for word quote from her FIL "when she cooks its like a delicious bomb going off in the kitchen"This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0 -
ahem there are yanks and canucks on this thread lol
Yeah but you worked out that there really *is* a world outside the borders it isn't all the made up thing.
Anyway we like Canucks, you're *us* unless you're one of the French speaking ones.:pIt’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

All the information is on the following link:

There are 2 Eids, 1 is the big celebration after fasting, and then there is the 1 above. It's to do with Abraham and his son.0 -

Thanks, that made it a lot more clear. I did not realise there were two.0 -
I like Eid
Used to live with a Muslim family and it always meant I'd come home to a massive curry feast and a house full of people as they told me they were supposed to make enough food to give 2/3rds away to friends and family. And "no thanks I've already eaten" was not an acceptable reason to decline
Was tempted to take a trip round there today on the way home but thought that might be taking the !!!! as I haven't spoken to them since I moved out in June (nothing nasty we just live in different areas and the communication is difficult over the phone as they don't speak good English and I speak even worse Pakistani
), now sitting down to my ready meal and thinking I made the wrong choice
