Does anyone access MS sites/fill in reports with iPhone or iPod Touch over Wifi?

Be interested in more discussion about filling in the reports on the go via the tablet/iPad options discussed earlier, considering making a purchase. I have a USB 3G mobile broadband dongle already, so I'm looking for a solution with that, possibly with one of these devices that means you can create your own little wireless hotspot - not sure of the reliability or if anyone has used one.

I want a Kindle or an e-reader, and also to be able to upload reports on the go, so that's my brief I see an afternoon of research coming on...!

Can I just ask a quick question, I do a lot of mystery shopping but cannot see who does the Catalogue store (not sure if I can post their name) does anyone know? Thank you.

Filling in reports on a tablet would take a long time tho. I would not dream of using a tablet to fill in a report unless I am without a proper laptop/computer and the reports are due the same night.

Not all tablets can use USB 3G dongle. I know the Touchpad and my friend's iPad wifi cannot. You are better off using your mobile and create a wireless hotspot. It does work...the speed is decent.

Tut tut GR supermarket. My delivery is 40 mins late so far!

The briefing notes say to be at home for an hour before and after the delivery slot in case it's early or late, but if it gets to an hour late, am I meant to phone the supermarket as I would if I was a regular customer??

Reports take a lot less time on a tablet than on a PC, FACT, especially if they are mainly tick boxes. I would not be without a tablet for mysery shopping.

Correct. 3G tablets have their own micro SIMs with data plan. Or there are MiFi devices that you can put ordinary sims in to create a Wifi connection.

The question of uploading a photo is the only remaining point in my mind. How to get around this?

My tablet takes a USB dongle and can be tethered to a phone

Yeah you can see the theatre its pretty good actually you can see the whole theatre.
