I'd heard something like that too, but I've also noticed that many of the permission boxes you have to click to proceed in the comp-entering now include a bit saying something along the lines of "Permission to email me at *****@yaha."
Hope that's how they get around it as since the changes I'm not getting notification to my email of FB messages . And has anyone (who actually realised they had an "Others" folder :rotfl:!) had any mail delivered to it lately?

When I won on fb recently from a Page the message came through into my Others folder part of Messages...

Can any Chrome users help me out? I've been trying to set it up for comping as FF has became almost geriatric. One thing that's bugging me at the moment is email links. If I click on any email link on MSE in chrome the address always comes up as spamreport@moneysavingexpert.com. Also FF lets you right click and select 'copy email address' but chrome doesn't have this. Obviously I can highlight the address and c+p but that's one step longer than I'm used to Is there anything to fix it?

also any tips for handy extensions would be welcome

email links work properly for me in chrome. What happens when you click on an email link on another site's webpage eg. https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3583411 ?
You could also try a proper log out from MSE (which clears MSE cookies).

Not a Chrome user myself but will try to help, if you are using Gmail you can use this extension

also it's worth noting that if you use Adblock this interferes with Google Chrome so it might be as well to turn it off before clicking on any email links
