If you start an order off - say put in £50+ of Finest beef for quickness. Checkout your order adding a delivery slot (which will cancel after 2 hours) when you get to the payment page, you will see a box which says something like "you are not currently using any e-vouchers, please click here (blue box) to use vouchers". Click the box to use vouchers and enter the code in the box. It will show that code has been accepted. You then just log out without completing (ie, paying for) your order. Your code is then banked. When you are ready to use the code for a "proper" order rather than a the "dummy" order (which you created to bank the code), just add the items you really want - not forgetting to take the beef off (which you added just to create your dummy order and get to £50+ as quick as possible). 500 points on Embrace today, if you use the code TFX-C42B, it takes £10 off at the checkout not £5 (shows on invoice too in case there is any palava), and you get a free box of belgium chocs to boot! Spend £18.00, get £20 in deals - thanks Mr T! Think there is only Saturday delivery left, so get in quick for Mothers Day!

has anyone tried using the extra points codes that come with clubcard mailing - the 50 points when spend £2 or more on frozen food etc. apart from ones you've received yourself, or are they user specific?
    TOP MONEYSAVING TIP

Make your own Pot Noodles using a flower pot, sawdust and some old shoe laces. Pour in boiling water, stir then allow to stand for two minutes before taking one mouthful, and throwing away. Just like the real thing!

  • it wont be deducted till they actually process the shopping on the day of delivery

so it will appear as full price in your checkout window, but if you look there is a little note there saying something to the effect of "this is a preliminary price, promotional deductions will be taken off later"

they dont actually charge your card till the day of your delivery

PS: remember, if you want to buy one get one free, you need to add TWO into your basket, dont just add 1 and them expect to add the free one in for you
