Has anyone used this code? TFX-C42B

It's for £5 off when you spoend £25 on flowers. I used it in conjunction with the deal of the day.

I bought two bouquets for £49, got two free boxes of chocs, 500 points per bouquet and then when I used the £5 code, it took £20 off the total!!

So, the total cost was £29.00 for two bouquets, with two free boxes of chocs, and £41.96 in Clubcard deals!!

Will they honour this code, do you think, or will I be charged the full amount?

    Sarah

Deal of the day of 500 points is available on ADORE, this comes with free chocs. £24.50 but the code takes £10 off, taking it to £14.50.

I printed the confirmation screen, but when the email came through it said £24.50 so I rang them and they said that only £14.50 has gone to my card, they said there must be a glitch on the system :p too right there is! 500 points worth £20 and a very happy MIL.

500 points when you spend £50 or more on groceries:

    XX-9R7N

    Valid until 6th May 2007"

Worked for me and have banked.:j

I've never used tesco online, but my OH does occasionally. Can someone explain how I can bank these points on her online account for when she next gets the shopping delivered? Cheers.
  • Hi. I think to bank them you go on to the Tesco site, book a delivery slot, put something in your basket, then go to checkout: you'll then see the option to add eCoupons. Enter your code. Then cancel the order. I think that should bank your coupon for when your OH does want to use it.

Hope that helps (and made sense)!

Anyone want to correct me - or suggest a simpler way?

    Hi

I have just placed an order for 1 of the above which came to £14.50 as you state.

However, my e-mail confirmation also shows up as £24.50. Do I need to ring CS and check this before delivery and if so, do they ask where you got the code from and you've guessed if so, do you know where it originated?

Thanks for you help and to the original poster.

I do not think there was a code for 500 points it did it automatically as it was the deal of the day

I have just spent half an hour creating a spreadsheet that automatically works out how many points I have accrued through the week, adds them to points already have, then a little box tells me grand total in deals. I am saving for a holiday abroad next year and have £600 in deals saved since October (just need another £1000!)

O/H had a snigger when he saw it, but he wont be laughing when we are sunning ourselves in Majorca!

I think it's a great thing to keep track of points. I too am saving for a skiing holiday next year and have a total of £1050.00 in deals value, just need to double it now.:T

I downloaded a spreadsheet from paid to shop and it works brilliantly for me.;)

Perhaps you could post a link for yours to help others!!!:A

I do find it very helpful in keeping track of points:j

  • Wow you people are mad!! Not sad, I actually think its great-just wish I was also that tech. minded.

Just waiting and waiting to find out if i'm ever going to get any points for the 20 odd cartridges I sent for recycling

I sent in 39 cartridges in to Tesco in January, was orginally saving them for charity collection, but they never returned to collect them. After getting hooked on Tesco points decided to send them off. Up until last week none of them had been credited  thought I was going to loose 1950 points.

I rang CS explained that I had waited my full 60 days and they added them there and then

I now only send a couple at a time and wait for them to be credited before I send another lot off!!

Is there a glitch on the Tesco site at the moment?

I've just placed a grocery order for delivery tomorrow, and had several codes banked. They are all showing as being used on this order - and one of them seems to be for £47.50! My £128 order has come out at £42-odd.

I'm pretty sure they won't just charge me £42, will they?

Also had problems with it going through - kept getting errors - but when I check my account, the order is showing as awaiting delivery.

    Very strange.
