Completly off topic I know, sorry.

I need to buy some bottles of a good dry white and a good red for a function I am organising and would like to get them at Tesco.com so I can use a 1000 point code. Trouble is I have Nooo idea with wine, can anyone help.

Would £5ish a bottle be reasonable.

I know this isn't really the right place but I didn't get much response on the other board and I am desparate as I need delivery by Friday.

Please help, I know loads of you are experts on Tesco wine.

    Cheers

No idea about what wine to get, but you wouldn't get a delivery by Friday with tesco wine - there is a 5 day wait for your home shopping store to get the cases in from the winehouse and then they deliver it the day after. So if you booked today (Tuesday), earliest date would be next Monday.

Can I just ask if you can use a barcoded MOC after the expiry date?

Does the till beep or does it just depend if the SA sees it?

The till doesn't beep with ordinary manufacturers' coupons or those cut out of the Daily Mail or magazines, etc. So you can still use OOD coupons (but I wouldn't recommend it if they are well OOD).

I sometimes use one within a week or so after expiry as I know Tesco can easily still redeem them as they have 3 months to do so normally. And if it was noticed I would just act dim....;)

The only ones that would 'beep' and not work after expiry are Tesco's own coupons (e.g. points coupons, till spits, or coupons from their magazine with the Tesco logo on the actual coupon). In the current Tesco mag there is a generic Sausages coupon that will still work after expiry but then it's got a loooong date on it so no need.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • Hi
Ive just seen the code for tesco direct which is great but was wondering if there is 500 points on tesco direct if you spend £50 or is that just solely for first shop on groceries?
