    MFI UPDATE

MFI are only accepting vouchers until the end of March 2007. Note that at present there is 20% off kitchens and appliances. Clubcard Deals Vouchers are worth the same amount as cash and you get the 20% off too!

You will also find that their sales persons will also give you extra discount on top of this too. I have just ordered an oven, hob and extractor, had the 20% off and had an extra £120 off too...

I thought MFI were leaving the scheme on 30 April and we had until then to order - I'm sure that's the info on the Tesco Deals website

    Hi,

I am in the process of buying a washing machine from tesco direct.

I have tried all the codes, and the best I am able to get is 500 point using code TD500FEB2007.

I be very grateful if you guys could suggest any other code vouchers that I could apply against this purchase.

    regards

I've seen people mention that when they bank the codes, they bank them in all of their accounts. My question is... how do you have more than 1 account? Are they in different names but the same address?
When you want to use the vouchers, for a holiday say, can you then combine them or do they have different names on?
Okay, that's more than one question... :rotfl: but hopefully someone can help!

  • Hello. Yes I know I haven't used Tesco direct yet and I must be the only person left in the world. I normally use Asda but seeing as they haven't got any money off codes at the mo and I went instore to Tesco and was impressed I thought I would give it a whirl.

My question is though. normally when I get loads of Asda codes I can just type them all in and it kind of stores them in a bank. then when I checkout I click which one I want to use. When I use tesco I can't seem to do this. Is it a case of writing down all the codes manually, do my shopping and then try and enter all the codes at checkout.? sorry if this is a dumb question but what do I do.

    Hiya jasmin
You can bank your codes. To do this on Tesco though you have to actually click the 'Checkout' button, select a Date/Time for delivery, then go through to the next page. Here you'll find a button saying 'Use Voucher/Codes' or something very similar to that (can't remember the exact wording!). Enter all the codes you like here, it'll choose one for you to apply to that order but gives you the option to use a different one from the ones that you've banked if you like. The others will stay there for use in the future.
You don't actually have to go through with checking out even though you've booked a slot- this will just expire after 2 hours anyway and your codes will all be remembered. :T Hope that makes sense, sounds a bit babbly!!! :rotfl:

Hi thanks for your reply. I did manage to get this far and it has stored one for double points, but when I try to use the one's listed here it just says that I am unable to use them as the are unvalid (I have only put £2 in my trolley at the moment just for the purpose of storing the vouchers. Does it mean that I have to have say %30 worth of stuff and then enter them all in.

Yes, that's right. If for example, a code is £10 off a £100 spend, then you need £100 of stuff in your basket for it to accept the code. You won't be able to bank any codes with a minimum spend with only £2 in your basket.
Drop in say 20 packets of nappies or something that'll get you over £100, then it'll take all your codes- then just delete the nappies or whatever you've put in when you put your real order in. :D
