Because everyone has just recived their vouchers and seem intent on sitting on the webstie all day repeatedly trying to put them in, it's broken the site. Simple as. Try again in a few days.
More often than not it is a problem with the shopper's computer setting that causes problems on the site (there are problems on the site, I have a few pages of lists!) but on this occasion is is down to the sheer number of people using the site.0 -

Seems a little strange this is the first time I have seen the website like this in 3 years... Since vouchers happen every quarter I do think there is something else up with the site and would be very interested to find out what.
I telephoned Tesco earlier today and the person who answered did say they have been having problems with the Tesco grocery site over the last 48 hours.
Thanks for reply rallymadI always wanted to be a procrastinator, never got round to it...0 -

typical.
Your not really going to spend Tesco vouchers at their store are you???? EEKK..
Even if you didn't want to swap them for deals you could sell them on Ebay and get aropund twice the value, which would then release the cash from them so you could shop around..
(Of course if all of a sudden computers started to be available on deals can someone let me know)Hello :j  :j0 -

Yeah sorry I meant to also post that usually there is several servers running to spread the load of the site - but that hasn't been happening and it is just one server getting hammered by repeated requests.... so yes, a problem with the website but there does seem to be a lot more people than usual using it and trying to order groceries and deals using their vouchers... seems to be the link from the server holding the voucher database that is going slowly.
However, I don't see why you HAVE to use your vouchers this weekend... doesn't help with lots of people complaining "but these vouchers expire on the 28th of.... oh, 2009".0 -
Can anyone tell me how I can use my vouchers online to oder deals when the vouchers they have sent me do not add up to the multiples allowed on the mfi site. I.e I got £73 of vouchers .. but there is only a multiple of £72.50. They sent me 3 voucjers 2 at £24.50 and 1 at £24.00. This means I won't be able to get the deals I want.. arrggghh
Ok .. sorted it .. I got it to accept my vouchers I guess they will send me any changeHLK
