Hi KP...plan was going well till I popped into asda and spent £5.19p Mind you dog food was £2.73 and the rest was what we needed so still kept to my budget. Weightwatchers for DD will be £5.50 but she's just a couple of pounds off her goal weight so will soon be free. That will be a saving of £22 a month for me!
Took lunch to work and a book so no spend there.
Will have a look what's on the menu for tonight and get that cooking before we go.
Work was good and was lovely to see everyone again. Chill out evening planned and probably watch Big Brother with DD.
Hardly slept at all last night and that's not like me, put it down to our new pillows, think they're too soft for me.

Hey Diz, good to see you posting again, although your still tempted by the supermarkets. I can't seem to meal plan for the week I have to do it day by day but well done to you for meal planning with the food already in the cupboards. Great news about the extra £20 as well.0

View from my living room this morning. Looks so pretty but I will be happy to see it melt. Work closed today and tomorrow. Must take Christmas decorations down today. Must admit I'm a bit bored!
Hope everyone is safe and keeping warm

Worked closed today. Took decorations down yesterday and the house looks a bit sad. Will get a colourful bouquet of flowers and brighten it up when/if I get to Asda. Still following our menu plan. Did pop to the local corner shop yesterday and spent £7. Gave DS £3 for sandwich at work though I had to force him to have it. I set myself such low budgets which I know I probably won't be able to stick to but if I set them higher I'd probably spend more, if that makes sense. My main challenge this month is not to withdraw from the bank before payday and as long as I can stick to that I'll be more than happy. Going to have a hoover and tidy up today then see what's on tv.
Keep safe

KP now come on. When you set your mind to it you're brilliant at sticking to your plans.
Mind you it does help that we can't get out doesn't it

Oh Lordy...my January running total is looking very unhealthy though to be fair I did do the weeks shopping today after I planned out my meals. But I did add a few extra things into the trolley. Still, the main thing is I haven't withdrawn out of the bank yet, so still on track there :j
Hope everyone else is keeping up the good work

Hi GR and KP
Not updated for a few days, that went fast!
Anyway ended up losing track of January spend but payday tomorrow so will start afresh tomorrow. Wasn't doing too bad to be honest then a few blips for unplanned spends and not getting on here to record it and it just slips. Kept up with the meal planning which has worked really well but need to set a bit of time aside to plan for next week, otherwise it won't get done.
Catch up with you both at some stage...
Keep well
