I haven't got a plan...I think I need one. I was thinking of just trying not to spend too much and do it slowly but I think I need more of a concrete plan that I should try to stick to! Oh I don't know I just feel like I'll be setting myself up to fail because of how I feel at the moment. Everything just feels a bit bleak at the moment. I need to snap out of it and get dynamic...:)
I haven't done a proper meal plan in ages either and I know that helps a lot.
Anyway enough doom and gloom, I will try to get sorted out.

Small steps when you are feeling low Dizzy. Dont do to much at once just try the meal planning and maybe a grocery budget to start with.

I think that perhaps you set your targets too high for the last couple of months and now you've lost your motivation because you've left yourself short. The debt you have is absolutly nothing compared to most on here and I think that setting yourself a target date to get it all paid off is stresing you out. As Wendy says - small steps. If you set aside £200 a month towards the OD it'll soon come down and hopefully it'll make you feel less restricted in your spending. IYSWIM.

Hope your feeling better today though and stop being so hard on yourself.

Thanks wendy and GR. I'm going to take the pressure off getting my overdraft down quickly and do it more slowly. It'll go down eventually.
Wasn't in work today due to feeling rotten but in tomorrow.

Hey girl, get youself a hot toddie and an early night. As for the overdraft that'll get paid off and if it takes you all year you'd have still done exceptionally well. 2008 could be the year you paid everything off.

Thanks hun. I'll definately be filling my hot water bottle up tonight and getting some good sleep.
Have been in bed before midnight these last couple of nights, there's a first.
I suppose I have done well with the debts gone, just the blimming overdraft...:mad: Well I did it so I'll get rid of it, I can do it...can't I???

HI Guys...thanks so much for the messages.
I've just been feeling really 'yuck' Think it hit me harder than I thought with DS getting his own place. Seen him a couple of times and he's doing great. I worry too much! I've been really disinterested in everything, haven't even had the energy or inclination to make meals, Oh been doing some before he goes to work. Tonight I made tea though.
Got paid and taken a bit out as owed DS some, crikey he's only 14 and he's got more money than me lol seems like it sometimes.
Have sold a book for £10 on amazon today though so that was something, I'd given up on that!
My head has really been in the clouds and I just can't seem to get enthusiastic about anything.
Been having some fallouts with DD, we're so alike, and that got me down a bit. She's suggested a bonding holiday, bless her, abroad though, just me and her...but I haven't flown since before I got married and although I'd love to go away with her I'm panicking at the thought of flying again!
I need to get a grip I think...

Also went to asda today and hated it.
Also money gone on a bespoke bracelet we had specially made for granddaughter (I sound old) this is my stepsons daughter. It's beautiful though and very unique.
So spending already...aghhh.
