Well I'm feeling pretty sad today. DS has moved out, well he is almost 20 and it's only a 10 minute drive away and practically round the corner from were I work but I will miss him so much. He's such a lovely funny lad I'll miss his humour. I've been up and it's a lovely house with his own huge bedroom sharing with a couple he works with. I've taken his stuff and bought him about 5 bags of food and toiletries, new bedding and pillows just so it's nice and fresh for him, had to get overdraft extended but that doesn't matter.
Was in asda buying his food and just burst into tears at the checkout, the girl was lovely and said she'll dread it when hers leave home. He's shared a flat before and I was up every week with food parcels. I'm such a baby aren't I? If I had my way my kids would never leave home but that's life.
So nothing else to add. Hope everyone is okay and well.

Oh Diz don't be sad (says she who actually gets panicked at the thought) As you said he's only 10 minutes away from you. Your not a baby for crying over him, you just care and even though he's 20 he'll still need his mum. I'm sure he'll be fine, just keep taking the food parcels, I'm sure he'll appreciate them. Keep your chin up hun, he'll be OK.

Im sure hell be fine Dizzy. I cant think that far ahead about the kids leaving. DD1 is such an argumentative girl (example offered to take them to car boot as treat this morning around 10 ish. DD1 having strop because she wants to go now!) half the time it sounds like a good idea! Cruel arent I? I will probably feel alot different when shes actually goes though.:j0

Just updating. Going to try to be really careful this week with the overdraft. DS ok, spoke to him today.
Sorted out some bedroom drawers and now I've got loads of papers to shred! Feels a bit better though.
Hope everyone has a great week.

Just had a browse around the forum and love to read how everyone is getting on with their grocery challenges, decluttering etc. I think I remember a while back a little personal challenge we had on here about decluttering but don't know what happened. Do you remember GR?
So, as I've got to get motivated again, tomorrow I'm going to declutter my living room drawers, just mine not OH he does his own...in a fashion!
Before I go to bed I'm going to sort out my lunch for tomorrow and I will not spend more than £5 for the day.And I'll plan tea for tomorrow. Haven't been doing a menu and OH been sorting tea out, some day's I haven't bothered having any due to being 'out of sorts'.
I will also pop into the union office at lunch time and join! If I've got time...
have a lovely day tomorrow everyone.

We are decluttering a bit but it seems to reappear. Done kids rooms a few weeks ago and the hall way. Yesterday OH started to clear some of the front room for a computer desk (planning to use Amazon sale money) and hes taken a large hifi from his parents so we have had to find room for that.
Good luck with drawers and £5 challenge.:j0 -
Hey girl, you sound much more like your old self again. Glad everything going well with DS.
I do seem to remember the de-cluttering challenge and I do seem to have let it slip. I did do one drawer last week that was full of leads for various game stations, mobile phones and ipods. I think this week I'm going to concentrate on my welsh dresser. Its got 3 drawers and they are full of junk. I'll do one tonight.
Can you believe its Monday again and we're nearly half way through April? It'll be summer holidays before we know it.
Hope you have a good day today Diz and catch you later.

HI GR
I'm still getting used to DS not being here. It seems so strange, I really miss him hence I'm feeling a bit down in the evenings. He said he'll call round at the weekend, it'll be lovely to see him.
Nothing happening with moneysaving. I'm not motivated at all. When I next get paid it will be the first time in ages that I haven't had to pay anything...so no huge amounts will be being taken out. I think then I can start to get my head around being more careful and get back on track to clearing my overdraft.
I was so tired last night I fell straight to sleep without even switching the bedside lamp off!
Hope you're okay hun. You'll doing blimming brilliantly at the moment. I so admire your determination.:D

Good to see you back Diz. Yo've not missed much we're all still plodding along slowly.
I didn't sleep too good last night was worried about taken the cat to the vets. I had to blink the tears back this morning and just couldn't concentrate in work until I had the phone call to say she was OK.
When do you get paid Diz and what are you planning to pay off the OD. Have you thought about it?0
