Hope the early night helps.
Lunch plan gone to pot as spent £8 today but I should behave the rest of the week. It is a weakness of mine because I like the social aspect of eating out at lunch and I detest sarnies. Will persevere to keep it down though.:j0 -
Hiya Wendy. How about taking a food flask. You can make your own soup/casseroles etc or pasta meals in it. They have a really wide neck so most food will fit in them. Save eating out at lunch for a treat once a week, then you're still saving.
My sandwiches were soggy today due to the salad cream (vegan) on them, so not very nice. Must do the soup thing myself.
Don't give up though hun.

Hiya ya'll and GR and Wendy
Well I spoke/wrote too soon here didn't I!!!! Was at work yesterday and developed a red rash all over my torso. School sent me to the walk-in docs and yes...I have a virus...again!!! So cannot go into school all week. Really getting fed up of this, I was off two weeks before Christmas with a similar thing. The doc said my immune system was low probably due to the virus I had before Christmas and school was the last place I should be. Was in bed about half six last night, and had a good few hours sleep. Today throat feels raw and have a few aches and pains. I had blood tests when I had the last virus and all was okay. I do hate being off work I always feel sooo guilty, feel like I'm letting the children down.
So I'm just resting and hope to be back at work on monday.
Lots of luvz to everyone.

Hi
What rotten luck. Schools are the worst for bugs. My youngest had friday of with the start of a cold. He was ok by Monday thankfully but still coughing and sniffing. Waiting for it to spead to the rest now. Weve been quite lucky with not many bugs last year and not many spreading around the family so I am just waiting for it now!!
Dont feel guilty you dont want the others feeling ill. Hope you feel better soon. Just think you can spend more time moneysaving through clicks etc!!:j0 -
Aaaaarrrrrhhhh Diz, sorry your not feeling too good at the moment. The only good thing is - if your in the house your not out spending money.Try to relax and chill out for a couple of days and I'll keep my fingers crossed that you'll be well enough to go back to school on Monday.Big hugs GR x0

Thanks Seaxwyn, Wendy and GR
Aw you're so lovely...
I've made a huge pan of leek and potato soup...this was all I had for two weeks last time I was poorly so today it's losing it's appeal.
Hope everyone is okay...roll on springtime.

Well...I suppose from past money spending I've been really good but with my new 'debt free head' on I haven't.
Bought a bracelet off ebay for £2.49p...I know that's not much and it is soooo lovely, but I do feel a tad guilty and a book...that was £20...now normally I wouldn't think twice about this but now I'm thinking I shouldn't have done it...which in a way is good. Oh also spent £8 for pizzas with DD and her friend and £5 in the garage. Now that's not really a huge amount I know and usually if that's all I did spend of a week-end then that would be considered amazing but...hang on let me tot it up...£35.49p. Hmmm now that does sound a lot. Fiddlesticks, ah well I got my statement today for Debt 2 so on wednesday £400 will come off Debt 2 and another £125 off Debt 1. Will have to be a little more careful now with money as this budget is tight.
Ok so I can't do anything about it now so...oh noooo have to add another £6.50p on to that total, just remembered, bought a meditation/visualisation cd from amazon...actually I did withdraw £5 from one of my survey sites, I have accrued money in for this, but apparently you can't use vouchers when buying off sellers, only if you're buying from amazon itself.iyswim. So not really my faultSo total spending was...£41.99p. Shoot, that's almost a weeks budget for food shopping. What is astounding is if I hadn't been on a budget and adding this up I would have thought that I hadn't really spent anything, yet I've spent over £40 on non essentials!!!!
Out tonight as well, birthday do of work colleague of OH. But I'll be driving and not spending, OH will buy drinks. I'm not buying anything new to wear,
I've got a lovely black shirt/blouse type of top and I'll wear jeans with black boots. I must admit I'm not a fan of clothes buying at all. I wear what I feel comfy in...ex hippy/rock chick here.:D
Anyway I'm rambling and me and OH are off out for a mooch around.
Luvz and hugz...have a happy weekend Dizzy xOfficial DFW Nerd Club Member no:219In the Court Of The Crimson KingI don't believe in the concept of hell, but if I did I would think of it as filled with people who were cruel to animals.Gary Larson0
