Well done Dizzy, just make sure you don't fritter the £200 away at Asdas, I know what your like, pop in for some milk and end up spending £50.
Just think, when that £200 is paid off look at what you've achieved this month, its a fabulous achievement and hopefully it'll keep you motivated to paying another lump sum off in February.
Love

Eeh you know me too well, me and asda
Come february I will have paid off £650. I can't wait...those debts are going down down down...then just two more payments of £325. When I say it like this it sounds like nothing. Why did I not do this before...maybe the time wasn't right, or rather I wasn't in the right frame of mind to do it.
That £200 is not leaving my mitts, I've got a tight hold of it.
GR I can understand a little of how you must feel now you're debt free...it's going to feel soooo good.Oh all these smilies, I'm feeling pretty happy right now. I definately needed to work out a plan before I did this, much easier to keep on the right track.
Thanks for the support.

Thanks seaxwyn. I'm so determined.:D
Ooh the time is going so slow. Well glad really from an age point of view but not a debt paying off view. Those statements seemed to come around very quickly, now it seems ages since I had one. Can't wait till I pay that £400 off Debt 1.
Getting a bit fed up of peanut butter and jam sandwiches though. Should be having a hot meal in this weather. Might make some veggie soup for next week and take in my food flask with some hunks of brown bread. Mmm that sounds nice. Made some banana and pineapple fritters tonight. Just waiting for the heartburn to kick in...!
Had a wonderful day at work today. Part of my job in school is delivering intervention programmes, as well as being a TA. Today one of the sessions went soooo well. Its a programme to build confidence and help develop language skills. It's a 10 week programme 4 days a week for half hour sessions. We're into week 8 now. Well today they just blew me away. I had tears in my eyes, was so proud of them. One said, You've got water in your eyes and they're red. I said that's because I'm so happy and proud of you. This sent them into a fit of giggles. Bless 'em.
Eight years of doing this job, probably longer now, and I still love it.

Well done you - that must be such a good feeling helping those children develop skills. It's so nice to know there are good caring staff in schools. I know what you mean about waiting for statements, I actually look forward to them now, and get a real kick out of amending my debt total downwards.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620

Ditto what Seaxwyn says.
Lunches not so good. 40p Mon, £6.30 Tue and although lunch was only 49p today I spent around £5.50 in Tesco buying it and other stuff for the house. It is stuff thats needed but not helping against my monthly grocery budget. More things being added to the list. Dont know if I can hold out until Sat Aaargh!
Tomorrow on site so probably wont spend anything.:j0 -
Aw thanks seaxwyn...these children are only in year 1. There are four in each group and I run two groups 4 times a week. I have to say where I work it's a great bunch of people and we support each other too. It's a pretty big school, nursery (foundation unit), infant and junior school combined. Loads of staff but we all get on with each other. A high proportion of our children come from familes were english is the second language so I've brushed up on my urdu too! I'm not very good but the children seem to appreciate it and we have brilliant bi-lingual staff.
Can't you tell I'm feeling good about things at the moment.:D
Hope you're doing okay too, if I win the lottery I won't forget my friends on mse. Mind you might be hard pushed if it's only a £10 win...:D
