    Run chkdsk on drive C if you keep getting freezes.

    Open the "Computer" window
    Right-click on the drive in question
    Select the "Tools" tab
    In the Error-checking area, click 'Check now', and make sure both options are ticked.

    Let's have a look at new CCleaner logs. To see what is still installed and running at Start-up. Will look at Hijack This afterwards again.

    Looks like just the Online Backup portion, as he should have already run the Normal Removal Tool.

    You can also disable all but Avast, Java and SpyBot for now.
